Namo Narendra Modi - Despise him, but you can not ignore him

Sun, Sept 18 2011   Narendra Modi is one of the controversial and polarizing figures in the present political discourse. The rise of this small town boy from Vadnagar in Mehsana District had been remarkable in the Indian Polity. A strong organizational man from RSS, Modi was the National Secretary of BJP in various states until he took over the reins of Gujrat in October 2001 from Keshu Bhai Patel.

Kalka Mail Accident by RSS Ram Madhav

A pleasant surprise awaited us yesterday. We were all at the all-India meeting of the Prant Pracharaks (Provincial Organisers) of the RSS. This meeting was held at a far off North Eastern town of Tinsukia. The meeting was being held at a very serene and scenic school complex of the Vivekananda Kendra. This one was one of the oldest schools started by the Kendra in the North East.

We were cut off from the rest of the country and the world for the duration of the meetings. There were about 175 of us - all the senior functionaries from the RSS and several important full-time organisers from various like-minded organisations like the VHP, BMS, ABVP, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Vidya Bharati and the BJP.

(SWAMI VIVEKANAND)

............ read More>>

IT is on this day—the Jyes-htha Shukla Triodashi of 1674—named Anandanama Samvat that Shivaji was coronated. The grand function took place atop the 5,000-ft high Raigadh fort in Maharashtra. He became thereafter a full-fledged chhatrapati—a Hindu emperor in his own right.

Where are the young leaders?

Nothing against Anna Hazare, but why, even after more than 60 years of independence, we have not produced one single young leader the country can feel like walking behind?
Am I right when I think that our educational, social, cultural systems have produced only followers and no leaders in all these years? Where are we going wrong?
Same goes with inventors. We are awesome developers (think of IT), but why not inventors?
What keeps youngsters from emerging as successful leaders?

Stop 'Brain Drain' :-
1. Our country is not yet developed.
2. Its development potential lies in the hands of Youth.

But what are we doing??? In the name of persuing higher degree, deep
knowledge and standard market value; many of us are just flying
away...first for 4 years...extending to 10...then 20...then forever...
There is nothing wrong in seeking global exposure...but what is the use
of all money, all knowledge which does not develop ur
motherland???
