Netas, Babus & The Corrupt Elitists - Cause For Deprivation & Marginalisation Of The Masses!!!

Acute poverty prevails in eight Indian states, including Bihar,
Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, together accounting for more poor people than
in the 26 poorest African nations combined, a new 'multidimensional' measure
of global poverty has said.
The new measure, called the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI), was
developed and applied by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative
with UNDP support.
It will be featured in the forthcoming 20th anniversary edition of the UNDP
Human Development Report.
An analysis by MPI creators reveals that there are more 'MPI poor' people in
eight Indian states (421 million in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya
Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal) than in the 26
poorest African countries combined (410 million).

Replace IAS with Indian Public Welfare Services

*Think Globally Act Locally- What stops “WE the Sovereign People of India
in getting world BEST Public Service Model for our democratic secular

*De**ar All*, *There is an urgent need for an all India debate on the subject of
continuation of Colonial Model of IAS Bureaucracy.*

Air India Pilots

There has been a lot of discussion in the media regarding foreign pilots
(also Known as “expat pilots”) in the aftermath of the tragic air accident
at Mangalore. The Minister of Civil aviation, many bureaucrats, airline
officials and even a few journalists have gone to great lengths to explain
how experienced foreign pilots hired by Air India and private airlines are
essential to the Indian aviation industry. A retired spokesperson of Air
India, who has no business to speak on behalf of Air India anymore, has been
repeatedly appearing on television to painstakingly explain how important
foreign pilots are to the company. Clearly the air disaster at Mangalore
with a foreign pilot at the controls has made a lot of powerful people
worried .Very worried.*

The point however is not whether foreigners should be allowed in Indian
carriers or not. Some of them are highly experienced and respected

Constitution of India has miserably failed

To give India a good government

Innocent are found framed and jailed

And we go through periodic parliamentary tournament

LET THE NATION RISE

LET THE NATION RISE

Dr K Prabhakar Rao

Looking at the bye gone sixty years
While India was ruled by our own men
The nation has been brought down by them into gutters
When they have made the country as their mischief den

While leaders wash dirty linen in public
Glorious years have been left into wild
National progress is as cold as an iceberg
And the country is thrown off by the political guild

Poor Gandhi and others who gave us freedom
Must be surely cursing in despair
Criminals and thugs contest the elections
While constitution is amended and is beyond repair

Dynastic rules are the order of the day
As kin only succeed the leaders
Morals are in the books for one’s dismay
While the rulers are raising corruption breeders

Political parties are found in large numbers
Where al are busy for grabbing the power
No party is free from criminals and gangsters

Reopened Bhopal gas verdict shakes India-U.S. ties

The return of the Bhopal tragedy to the headlines is evidently worrying U.S. and hope that the case will not inhibit its growing ties with India or affect the nuclear liability bill currently before the Indian parliament, and that the verdict in the matter brings some closure to the families of the victims of the tragedy, reports Chidanand Rajghatta of Times of India.

Where will corruption take India?

The most disquieting aspect of the widespread corruption in India is the fact that it is not anymore confined to politicians or the government machinery alone. It is prevalent amongst almost every section of the society at every level.

Noble mother India is wounded and bleeding

Its own sons having speared with sharp lance

Honest Indians are found weeping

The periodic election in India
Only results in rise of the wicked
Crooks galore is the ultimate resultant
While you and me are thoroughly tricked

Shady brokers enjoy corners of power
Who spare no time in swindling the money
Morals and ethics are thrown into a river
And they swallow the grants as sweet honey

Indian famer has remained ultimate poor
While the rulers have built up their real estates
Honest men are framed and kicked out
While India remains the poor third world state

Political parties harbor the criminals
And they intimidate the gullible voters
Result is the birth of armed radicals
Who laugh at the ways of democratic jokers

Rulers in the state find ways and means
To fool around the people in various ways
Younger folk is happy with foreign jeans
And they hope to see happy and merrier days

The nation has been fooled for six decades
