National security concerns

Where there is no WILL, what could a WALL or FENCE do?

The Deputy Minister for Home Affairs declared that the estimate for building a fence across the Line of Control, the unofficial boundary between India and Pakistan, in Jammu & Kashmir has tripled. The current estimate is more a thousand crores of rupees, close to Rs. 1300 Crores. I wonder what kind of fence, might that be! Could it be a chain link fence, a barbed wire fence or a concrete reinforced wire mesh fence? How far away from the fence watch tower would be, how many men each tower will be posted with and what would be the interval between those towers and the flood lights? What would be the rate of illumination of those flood lights?

The problem of "Adivasis" and rural poor in India

How can the People of India help Mr. Home Minister

I am not apologetic about rebutting the Home Secretary or the Home Minister.. Pakistan sends infiltrators through the line of control and through whatever channel they can operate. Indian Border Defense Force and the Indian Army are always made to be on their toes to control such infiltration. Pakistani infiltrators also penetrate through India’s sea coast and stage carnage within India. Indian police and other internal security agencies are sweating to control that too. Neither the Indian Defense forces nor any other agency seem to be interested in a joined operation to present the domestic terror arising out of such infiltration and attack on the Indian soil.

India should take up Chinese double standards to the International forums

You all read what Mrs. Nirupama Rao, Secretary in the Ministry of External said about China building a dam on their part of River Brahmaputra. What she said was "What I want to say is that this matter has been taken up not just once but on a number of occasions with China and China has consistently denied that it is engaged in any such construction activity on the Brahmaputra." Cabinet officials, government officials and congress party leaders were consistently were always in denial mode about the Chinese building a dam on the Brahmaputra River. Recently the Prime Minister had a meeting with his Chinese counterpart in Thailand and thereafter the Prime Minister also kept the line. Now consider other scenario.
