Myanmar Mission of the Council of Nagaland Baptist Churches Missionaries set Hindu temple on fire

According to the complaints of Hindu Nagas, the Christian missionaries from Tamenlong in Manipur in collusion with their Barak Valley activists have been converting the Hindus of Ujan Tarapur through allurements and threats.

Evangelical provocation in Karnataka Why are they hurting Hindu sentiments?

No church was attacked in Karnataka.

Centre cannot tame terrorists, but threatens elected govts in Karnataka and Orissa.

Chief Minister, Shri B.S. Yeddyurappa—a quintessential politician with keen acumen—was quick to realise that it could be the mischief of the Opposition parties and vested interests were trying to engineer a crisis in order to seek his government’s dismissal on the grounds of collapse of law and order machinery in the state.

He rushed to Mangalore and Udupi along with the home minister, Dr V.S.Acharya, DG & IGP, Srikumar and top officials and reviewed the situation. His stance was fair and just. While he appealed to the Christian brethren not to indulge in violence and assured all protection to their lives and property, he also appeled to the Hindus—no matter what the provocation is, they should not take law into their own hands.

Mangalore residents blame forcible conversions for violence

The coastal town of Mangalore in Karnataka, which is known as the Garden City under Coconut Groves has been under fire since the past three days.

Incidents of violence, places of worship being desecrated and not to mention the damage to public property -- Mangalore has seen it all and has been on national headlines.

The issue here -- conversions as alleged by right-wing Hindu activists who went on a rampage on Sunday. Places of worship and churches were under attack. The following day, some Christians took out a protest against the incident and had to bear the wrath of the police when the protest turned violent.

Puja of ganesh in Saint Xavier's School in Jaipur: 7 Hindu boys suspended

JAIPUR: St Xavier’s School authorities here on Wednesday suspended seven Class XII students for 20 days for allegedly offering puja to Lord Ganesha in their classroom on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The report about students’ suspension spread like wildfire, providing Saffron parties an opportunity to take on the missionary school management, which ultimately assumed a communal colour.

After receiving frantic calls from parents about the suspensions, more than 200 members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) — the youth wing of BJP — reached the school and started throwing stones at the school and broke some windows. Police later detained six BJYM supporters.

St Xavier’s is one of the oldest schools in Jaipur. It was set up in 1941, and has produced some of the brightest students in all of Rajasthan.

Church Testing Waters

Vatican    is testing the waters in India again. After their ‘successful’ harvest in the North Eastern states of India , Vatican is testing the response for an aggressive harvest in Orissa. Logistically there is plenty of advantage for Vatican to accelerate their sinister religious conversion process in the East of India. Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya are already in their hands. Communists in West Bengal and Muslims in Bangladesh wi ll only help them in case of any need. And with the new friendly Prachanda government in Nepal and a Chinese dispensation in Myanmar it has also got plenty of easy escape routes and supply lines.  Abundance of Adivasis, the favourite ‘guinea pigs’ of the Pope, makes Orissa most vulnerable. Little do these poor Adivasis realize that like in Africa they will be left with the Book and the Bishops will take their lands when the harvest is complete.

Who killed Swami Lakshmanananda?

Who killed Swami Lakshmanananda?

Not the Maoists, everyone except some senior state government authorities maintain.

Even
the top brass of the state police say it is improbable that Maoists
were responsible for the murder of the Swami and four others at his
remote ashram in Orissa's Kandhamal district on Saturday night. A
senior state police officer said the modus operandi of the murders do
not provide substantial evidence that the Maoists may be involved.

Here are the facts of the murder after preliminary investigations:

Hindu nationalism is a cancer on India, says Orissa bishop by Nirmala Carvalho

Mgr Raphael Cheenath, archbishop of
Cuttack-Bubaneshwar, talks about the situation of the Church following
attacks against churches, cars and people in Orissa. There is a link
between Hindu nationalist ideology and Nazism. For him though,
Christianity has “deep roots” in the state and the Church is the
“light” for many Tribals and outcasts.

Bubaneshwar
(AsiaNews) – Hindu nationalism, which is fomenting attacks against
Christians, is like a cancer that is undermining inter-communal
coexistence, which is the foundation of Indian society. The roots of
this nationalism, expressed especially through the Rashtriya

Formerly, Christians were reportedly
arrested and imprisoned for preaching the Gospel in Nepal. Speaker
Narayan Sharma, Gospel for Asia's Nepal country leader, said at the GFA
"Renewing Your Passion" Conference in Dallas, Texas, on Friday. He
recounted when he himself was arrested and put into a dungeon-like
prison cell because he shared his faith.

"In all this darkness, there was no imagination that the country would ever be open," Sharma said.
