One more glaring example of Media’s ‘chaplusi’ to Gandhi family

A recent poll by Lens clearly states two things : one that people want the current PM to go and two, there is a clear preference for Narendra Modi as PM not only over Manmohansingh but also over Rahul, whom Congress is desperately trying to project as the PM. However, the media has twisted the facts and coined headlines that misguide the nation saying people prefer Rahul as the PM !!!

Look at the findings of the survey : 
And look at the headlines of a few so called reputed newspapers:

Hindustan Times: Indians want Rahul as PM: Survey

Sify News: More and more Indians want Rahul as PM: Survey

Express Buzz: More and more Indians want Rahul as PM: Survey

Isn’t it really shocking that in their penchant for pleasing Madam Sonia, the media doesn’t mind degrading its own image by telling us that it doesn’t know even primary level simple math ….X>Y>Z 

Not only that Narendra Modi has got 15% higher votes than Rahul Gandhi, he has been preferred across different sections of people. Look at these graphs:
 


Its quite evident that such newspapers, whose job revolve arounds licking Madam Sonia’s feet, can’t dare give a headline that ‘People want Narendra Modi as the next PM’

I agree that the polls are skewed, and if they are not skewed they can be made skewed.. It is difficult to be accurate as it all depends on the sample and the sample size. However it is also important not to delude ourselves. There was a complete miscalulation about the level of support for Congress at the last general election. BJP was confident of a victory.
