ON AWARDS
Dr K Prabhakar Rao
Subhas’s daughter had high self respect Who promptly refused award with due respect These awards are given to please a section of public And this has become a regular gimmick in the Indian republic Why not give these to Rama, Krishna Shivaji and Akbar@ To Asoka, Harsha, Chandra Gupta and the raider Baber How about the great Bapu, Buddha, Bharatha and Hanuman They deserved these awards much more than these men
Valiant men and women laid down their lives for Their names are never found in the media Great were the sons like Bhagat Singh, Azad and Savarkar Whose statues collect dust from a passing car Abettors of partition are glorified in our nation While real freedom fighters are left at the railway stations Pseudo patriots have field day today On republic day they are found at mikes to loudly bray The Generals are sure to get some higher Seva* medals For having survived so long without getting into some troubles They have happily managed the balancing act for years While the deserving fade out without any tears Seva Medals. The nations recognition has
The nations recognition has degenerated into bogus awards
While true guys languish in hospital wards
All nuts and bold make to the top
They swallow the awrds as a lollypop

You are absolutely correct when you say about some characters who write under the name anonymous on the blogs. They have no courage to write their name. to put straight, such guys are usually called snakes in the grass. They naturally have not attained intellectual state of mind where they can dispassionatelty can think.May god bless them and I wish all such souls
that they may be guided on right tracks in their lives by the almighty in the coming year. This is not against any person in particular either.

Anyone who writes with such
Anyone who writes with such wisdom, knowledge, logic and clarity of analysis naturally inspires his readers. Yes. I have no hesitation to say that I do admire the authority of Dr, Rao. It takes time, efforts and enviable level of perseverance to reach the intellectual status he has attained. I never felt less honorable when I paid respect to those whom I felt imparted wisdom and I feel humble when I express my admiration to such writers. I felt the same way when I read the articles written by Shri Sougato Banerjee too. Unfortunately, anyone, who, logs in as “Anonymous” and comments challenging such wisdom could not be intellectually accomplished, which is not my fault or the fault of anyone else, but that of "Mr. Anonymous."
Bharat Ratna has lost its
Bharat Ratna has lost its significance, It is being bestowed indiscriminately to appease some persons. pseudo secularism and bootlicking play a greater role in deciding the canidates to give the award than real merit. tHe govt deviates and selects guys to appaese. Thus these awards have lost al significance and publi have lost coinfidence in them. Same is the case with Padma Awards.better to scrap these awards
