While children are happy with nursery rhymes

Buddha’s teachings have disappeared long ago
Terrorists are now at us with a cutlass
Pundits in Kashmir are cut and put in a basket
While leaders of the state look on like a stupid ass

Naxalites are running roost in the states
Where they run their law without any hindrance
People at the top remain mute to the crimes
While poor are yet to get the deliverance

The leaders are busy in eltion gimmicks
While common man suffers great pain
Only aim in elections is to win
While their hands are covered with victims blood stains

Soon Naxals would roam free with guns

Assemblies in states are dens of noise and shrieks
Where the leaders assemble to shout at each other
Each and every one has looted the nation and Indians
And promoted their wives, sons and brothers

The Prime minister of nation was blamed in scams
Although he put a brave face
Nations money is swallowed by dubious men
Who chant the name of Gandhi to keep up in race

Poor Gandhi must be surely cursing the fate
Having been shot and killed by Godse’s bullet
Poor old man I am sure is happy to die
Or else would have cut his own feeble gullet

Leaders who chant Gandhi’s name
Are the biggest frauds on the nation
They aim at swindling the people
While army wants more and more of peace stations
Crooked devils lurk at the corners of power

Honorary degrees are awarded to those who matter
They compete in this murky business enmasse
The standards in education dwindle day by day
While colleges send out thousands that are as good as an ass

Few states in India prohibit liquor
However they failed to control corruption
Men are denied barest minimum succor
While officials swindle with great dedication

Some cranks are after prohibition
Who have nothing to do except to get recognition
Liquor is found to flow in roadside gutters
However government has failed to curb prostitution

People in India elect bunch of swindlers
Our parties are flooded with such strength
Indian masses remain as roadside asses
As national leaders are hoarding abroad their wealth

Five years plans have remained great gimmicks

Law of land has failed to protect the poor
While crooks find way to political power
You and me can only suck our thumbs
As goons and rascals reach the top of tower

Leaders such as Gandhi, Nehru, Subhas and Patel
Already lost into pages of history
Treves, rapists, dacoits are all in the fray
While poor died in the gas at Bhopal factory

Some leaders hide their money in the bathrooms
Yet claim innocence about the source of money
Police are busy in eternal search for crooks
While old and sick suffer pain in the knee

Ethics and morals now belong to some other distant era
As leaders are busy in the game of politics
Cheating people is their prime past time
And people are fed up of the eternal antics

Shady characters start the professional colleges
With sole aim of making fast buck

Political leaders who ruled India for decades
Have brought the nation to the brink of disaster
People of India are thoroughly fooled
As the gory crooks have been their continuous masters

Thieves, thugs, dacoits and rapists
Aall are found in the election fray
Smugglers, cheats, hoarders and pimps are sure to win
The fallen standards have come to stay

Gandhian life simple living and high thinking
Is confined now to history a book
The leaders are busy with ever evil thoughts
While crooks rule India at every nook

Political leaders have made Tonnes of money
Duly stored in far off nations
Poor are struggling for two square meals
While army devours yearly tones of free rations

For some country have special courts
While common man is treated worst than a rat
