How confusing English Historians made Indian History?

What ignorance can harm knowledge is much.

What directed ignorance can harm knowledge is tremendous.

What constantly directed focused igonrance can harm knowledge is infinite.

 

Here I present my case:

Greek names for India are a proof of a very misunderstood Indian History in European and Western Eyes.

I go back to Greek Scholars or Visitors to India:

 

Ptolmey on India:

 Indian Names/Old Persian names/ Greek names/Modern Names

Sughdha/Suguda/Sodiane/Samarkhand.

Mouru/Margu/Margiane/Merv

Bakhdi/Bakhtri/Baktra/Balkh

Haroyu/Haraiva/Areia/Hair-Rud

Vehrkana/Varkana/Hyrkania/Jorjan

Harahvaiti/Harauvati/Arakhoktos/Harut (Sanskrit= River Saraswati)

Hapta Hindu/Hindavas/Indoi/Panjab.

Hindu-Khush was called Paropanisos.

Kabul was called Ortospana.

Arokhaj was called Arakhotos.

Himalya was called Mount Imaos.

Saurasthra was called Syrasterene.

Gulf of Kutch was called Kanthi.

Gulf of Kutch was also called Barake in Periplus.

Sindhi Khyrousn is the Kediwari mouth of Indus river was called Sinthon.]

Kyar River was called Khariphron.

Wari mouth of Indus was called Sapara.

Sir mouth of Indus was called Sabalaessa.

Lonavada was called Lonibare.

Purbandar was called Bardaxema.

It is possible that Srinagar might have been called Bardaxema.

Surat was called Syrastra or it might have been Junagadh.

Bharoch was called Barygaza.

Ujjain was called Ozene.

Gulf of Khambhat was called the Gulf of Barygaza.

River Narmada was called Namados or Namades even Namnadios.

Navsari was called Nausaripa.

Maharashtra was called Airake.

Andhra was possibly called  Saraganes.

Supara 6 Miles north of Vasai (Bassien) was called Soupara.

Godawari Rivers was called Goaris.

Bhima was called Benda.

Chaul was called Simylla.

Thana was called Tana.

 Confusion, Confusion, Confusion was purposely created to take away Indian Glory and turn it into Christian Glory.How successful the campaign has been - Today we read English History and have no Clue on Indian History.

i am fully agree with the author. We must try to correct it so that our next generation may have full knowledge of our remarkable history.
