All concerned, including journalists must ask the to all political leaders, who have Hindu names, where they stand on the issue and give wide spread public information on each person’s position on what is going on as Love Jihad. It is a serious issue that is storming the Kerala social landscape currently. I am sure that it is not an issue that is prevalent only in Kerala. Questions are being asked by some journalists and some concerned parents to political leaders, political leaders and society big wheels. Numerous politicians and leaders stand on the fence. Some of them object to it, but very politely, and with voice no one can hear, but hardly advocate or act seriously against it. Many parents who raise their children honestly, seriously with love and care are worried about the fact that their daughters are being victimized by rowdies hiding behind religious and supported by the Congress party and its allies to appease its “vote bank.” These parents are helpless and the law, law enforcement agencies, judiciary and the government are against them. Recently questions were asked to Vayalar Ravi, Ramesh Chennithala (Congress), Sri Ramakrishnan (Communist Party Marxist Youth Federation). They don’t believe that such an organized campaign exists in Kerala. When that question was put to Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI (M) General Secretary in Kerala was “I am not giving you the answer you want on that question.” However, he said that the issue will be issued later in a party meeting a decision arrived at and communicated later. This is a dishonest and deceptive strategy to hide his view on the issue. Why should the party postpone consideration of the issue to a later date? Is it not a dishonest effort to stay on the fence so that he can jump on the side of public opinion when it becomes clear? Christian religious leadership has collected some statistics of the victims who have disappeared from the social scene and possibly have been victimized by Love Jihad. However, Christian political leaders, most of who are Congress stooges and a few Communists have not said a word for or against it. I don’t doubt the situation in other states, among other political parties and political leaders are the same. This is a serious issue, on which Hindus must know the stand of various political, religions and political leaders. Either they are for it or against it.
