The imperative necessity for the sucess of RSS

I read the recommendations of Dr. Mohan Bhagwat during his press conference in Jaipur. I agree with him on various points he made. However, I have to frankly express my disappointment about his willingness to make needless, divisive and disruptive statements. RSS, as I understand, is a voluntary organization of patriotic people who care to preserve the native culture, traditions and civilization of Indian people while ensuring their prosperity and resourcefulness. Founding leaders of that organization were intensely patriotic people who had to endure numerous sacrifices in their life for what they believed in. I believe, Dr. Bhagwat and his followers have the same objective. Although it is doing some voluntary community and development work, peoples’ impression of that organization has not changed from that being a drum beating part timers in khaki and white who sing Vande Maatharam. I don’t see anything wrong with that perception, but it has been made a trivial perception.

What is Hindutva and what is wrong with it? Is RSS necessary or has it been doing anything to promote that cause? We rarely hear it well articulated by RSS leaders or BJP leaders. We hear the Congress declaring that “Muslims have nothing to be afraid of in India,” no one articulates the fact that the “hit and run” practice adopted by Muslims for over 1300 years in various parts of the world, especially in India never end. Hindus are in constant danger and live in fear in India. When Muslims stage riots in India, police beat up Hindus and ensure the safety of rioting Muslims. The self serving Indian media concoct electronic, print media items and even police is anxious to project Hindus as terrorists, while Muslim terrorists are free to riot at will. While it is a historical fact that thousands of temples of native faith have been vandalized, destroyed and mosques constructed on their foundations, Hindu leaders are dumbfounded when they are questioned about some vandals destroying a mosque built by a renegade invader on the birth place of a native hero. There is no forceful defense of our culture, tradition and civilization. Our religions and political leaders are always at pains to explain the peaceful nature of Islam and Christianity, but they hardly ever take time to read, understand and educate people of the truth about the violent nature of those religions and the millions of poor people all over the world that have been violently murdered and displaced at the instigations of those religious leaders.

Is an organization with the objectives of RSS relevant or necessary? You bet. Muslims and Christians have all kinds of organizations. Parliamentary and religious group visit India on the slightest sound of a perceived violation of religious rights in India and make elaborate reports to their government, which in turn influence the Government of India to ensure that native people are tied to knots. There is no account of money flowing to those organizations from Western Christian organizations and the West Asian Muslim organizations. Their age old tactics of conversion continues unabatedly. Hindu organizations, wherever, they are or whatsoever their size, hardly receive any money even from Hindu millionaires. There have been concerted efforts by national and international organizations to discredit Indian religion, philosophy, socio economic and scientific achievements. There is therefore, an imperative necessity for the survival and healthy functioning of organizations like RSS and Bhajrang Dal. However, we must realize that India under the Congress party and various states under the control of regional political parties headed by selfish leaders is a dangerous land for the survival of native religion and the practitioners of that religion. Therefore, the organizational activity should continue and grow in utmost secrecy. Hindu leaders are being targeted and murdered by anti Hindus, therefore organizational leadership and membership must remain anonymous.

Above all, RSS and BJP leaders, if they are committed to their organizational goals, must stop bickering and infighting and began an era of mutual respect and cooperation. From the day Advani went to Pakistan and glorified Jinnah, many BJP leaders were expelled or reduced in rank. Except for the exit of Shri Khurana, Congress would not have been so strong in Delhi. I don’t see any justification for the quarantine imposed on Uma Bharati, who is still a political force in Madhya Pradesh. What good would it serve by replacing Col. Khanduri or Vasundhara Raje, who where popularly elected by their party colleagues while BJPs national leadership, which was responsible for the election debacles remain unchanged?
