: Communist goons are still restless. They are hell bent on destroying
the lives of saints / Sadhus, as a new way of implementing their
so-called ‘secularism’!!!

Vinu Swamy of Buddha Vihar Avadhoot Ashram at Cheemeni, a village in Payyannur, North Kerala,
already a victim of a brutal attack by the native communist goons, is
being targeted again !! This time, it is not the Ashram (as it has been
reduced to a rumble of ashes in the previous onslaught), but the
beautiful jungle that surrounded its premises.. The communist talibans
started their 2^nd part of operation – ‘Secular Kerala’, by
cutting down the majority of tress.. Vinu Swamy, who started the Ashram
on this same place 20 years back, turned a land of barren rocks into a
nature’s haven with his selfless service and divine love for
environment. This place, which was a treat for environment enthusiasts,
is now fast turning into a barren land once again thanks to the grace
of our ‘secular’ communist leaders!!

The Swamy is yet to recover from the onslaught of these desi talibans on 22^nd
May 2008, during which a priceless collection of 10,000+ books,
invaluable photos of sacred pilgrim spots, rare stamp collections,
pooja utensils, food amenities, kitchen equipments, land phone, ..etc.
all turned into ashes… Not to mention the man-handling, which cost
Swamy his hair & beard!! What a wonderful way to express the
spiritual and cultural heritage of Kerala to outside world!! Now, the
Swamy is regularly receiving death treats, and it is doubtful whether
he will survive another such attack..

Now
one question remains.. What was Swamy’s fault ?? Is it his self-less
service or is it being a Hindu ?? Why hindus suffer the back-lash again
& again while people from other faith are enjoying themselves
despite of proven charges of out of the way activities?? It is
shell-shocking to see the plight of spiritualists in so called ‘God’s
own country – Kerala.. Is this the way to return the services offered
by the Saints / Sadhus, who do not live for themselves but for the
service of the mankind??

It
is now or never for the hindus that if they fail to uphold the
‘Sanathana Dharma’, and protect their cultural heritage, then worst has
to come because our power-greedy politicians are fast eating out once a
glorious linage.. As Swamy Vivekananda has said, “ARISE!! AWAKE!! STOP
NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED!!” It is our duty to up-hold his message
now..
