Solapur (Maharashtra): Muslims have started illegal construction of mosque at Kannayyanagar in Majrewadi on agricultural plot of land. Hindus from Bedar Kannayyanagar, Kumarnagar, Chhatrapatinagar and Takmoge area have submitted a representation to the District Collector against such construction. (Congratulations to all devout Hindus who have come together against an illegal construction ! Hindus should follow up the matter in a lawful manner till every illegal construction is demolished! – Editor SP)

It has been mentioned in the representation that on a plot of land sold by Jayendra Zample to Ayub Pathan, he has started illegal construction of mosque. (Hindus must now think whether they should enter into any financial transactions with the non-Hindus who are involved in illegal acts creating headache for Hindus! – Editor SP) This place was purchased by Ayub Pathan for residential purpose. But a tin shed was erected and the madrasa was started on this plot to impart religious training to Muslim children. A complaint was lodged against the same with Industrial Colony police station and the matter was sorted out. (At that time if the police had taken legal action instead of sorting out the matter, such situation would not have arisen. The police who did not take legal action are equally guilty. We need righteous government, rather than useless democracy, to punish such police! – Editor SP)

Now the place has been converted into a mosque. (Hindus must realize that non-Hindus have grabbed so much of their land in such manner. But the Congress has no courage to put a curb over these things since it has so much of concern for non-Hindus. Oust such Government in the forthcoming elections! – Editor SP) Muslims from other places gather here. A Muslim from other State comes and imparts religious training. In this mosque, namaj is read 5 times a day with full ‘baang’. (When music is played in a Hindu procession while it is taken past a mosque, Muslims get angry and start riots. But Hindus tolerate ‘baang’ 5 times every day. They do not behave like fanatics. Is that the reason that non-Hindus are not afraid of Hindus? – Editor SP) Now more material has been brought to start further construction and donations are being collected from citizens.

There are majority of Hindus staying in this area. They are harassed owing to the Muslims and their ‘baang’. The citizens living in this area and the original owner of the plot are against the construction of this mosque. It has been stated in the application that the said construction would create hindrance in the proposed development plan and therefore, permission should not be granted for the construction and the construction going on now should also be stopped. (Hindus have to make a demand to stop illegal work started by non-Hindus for creating hindrance in the development plan but an ancient temple of Saint Dnyaneshwar in Pune is demolished by the Municipality without bothering for the religious sentiments of Hindus under the guise of development. This is the secularism in Mughal like Rule of Congress ! – Editor SP) The representation has been signed by 55 persons and has been submitted to the District Collector by Mr. Zample, the earlier owner of the plot.
