Include Kashmiris in Indo-Pak peace talks: JKLF

India and Pakistan should make Kashmiris a party
in the peace process, which was set in motion five years ago, according
to the Jammu and Kashmir [Images] Liberation Front.

"Kashmir
is not a border dispute between India and Pakistan that they will sit
together and resolve it and thrust the decision on Kashmiris," JKLF
Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik told reporters in Srinagar [Images] on Monday.

"We
appeal to both India and Pakistan to make Kashmiris a party in the
peace process aimed at resolving the Kashmir issue," Malik, who
returned to Srinagar after his 22-day Pakistan tour, said.

"We
should be involved in the peace talks so that a solution acceptable to
the people of Kashmir and both India and Pakistan can be arrived at,"
the chairman said.

It is only through dialogue that the Kashmir issue can be solved, he said.

"We
have sacrificed one lakh people in the last 18 years. We are in favour
of resolving the issue through dialogue," Malik said.
