The Vatican Radio describes itself as 'The voice of the Pope and the Church'.  However, the following piece from the Vatican Radio is blatant untruth. This means that the Pope is untruthful, the Radio being his Voice. The Pope 'says' here that a nun was burnt alive. We know and it has been reported everywhere that a Hindu servant [and prospective convert] succumbed to burns in an unfortunate incident when she was found giving company to a hiding priest. She was also not 'running any orphanage’. The next pearl of wisdom is that 'Another nun from Bubaneshwar’s Social Centre in the Archdiocese was gang raped before the building was set on fire'. One incident has been reported here as two incidents. It is good that it was not made out into three or more incidents with the torching being headlined and rapes added in the body; or the priest's case being similarly dealt with. A nun, whose parents are still devout Hindus, was found hiding with a priest in secret. She was brought out by the locals, and was subsequently taken away by the Police. They took a statement from her in which she specifically denied any rape. However, a medical examination revealed semen inside her, but NO INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL INJURY TO THE VAGINA.

When the medical findings came out [much later], the nun gave a complaint saying that ONE PERSON in the local crowd had raped her and hence the semen inside her. We do not know whether the semen had got deposited before the locals found the nun and the priest. Anyway, look at the words of the papal voice. They are actually a shame to any honest society.  Curiously, no secularist or Christian media has bothered to report anywhere that compensation of Rs. 2 lakhs by the Orissa government and Rs. 3 lakhs by the Sonia government has been announced. The 116000 converts in Khandmal would all thus be richer by Rs. 5 lakhs each. The money will come from Hindu taxpayers because 98% of Oriyas are non-Christians. Try calculating the quantum of compensation. The sob-story propaganda by the Christian media would also bring in more donations from abroad to the missions.

Anti Christian Violence Rocks Orissa, India
(26 August 08-RV) Tensions are still high in the Eastern Indian state of Orissa where Hindu extremists are being encouraged by their leaders to target Christians in revenge attacks for the murder this weekend of radical Hindu leader Swami.

Police say Maoist rebels are responsible for his death and local Christians have condemned his murder, but this has done little to calm marauding Hindu bands.

In the worst episodes yesterday a Catholic nun was burnt alive by a group of fundamentalists who stormed the orphanage she ran in the district of Bargarh. A priest who was at the orphanage was also badly hurt and is now being treated in hospital for multiple burns, while the children were driven away.

Another nun from Bubaneshwar’s Social Centre in the Archdiocese was gang raped before the building was set on fire. One other priest has been hospitalised two others are still missing.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has planned further demonstrations for today.

Archbishop of Cuttack-Bubaneshwar, Raphael Cheenath, warns that this spate of violence is far worse than previous violence of dec 2007, because this time Hindu nationalists are targeting people not properties.
