As a disclaimer i need to make this blogpost obvious that i have no motivation about success or failure of NDTV. What is annoying me is a deliberate attempt to incite me with many Anti Hindu Remarks.The right to practice one's religion has been legally conferred to me by my constitution. Unfortunately people who tamper with the Hindu Religion like MF hussain have been given extra ordinary focus.

Protests are a part of democracy, When the israeli Primeminister comes to India, Muslims have a legitimate right to protest against their grievance. In similar way there is a legitimate right in a democracy to protest that citizenship given to MF hussain when courts have to dispense of the cases makes me feel a safe harbour sanctuary is being given by the Qatari government. As a Hindu do i not have a right to demonstrate this before any visiting dignatory of Qatari nationals.

NDTV hindi channel on 28th November 2008 pursuant to Mumbai Attack in the morning between 3.00 clock to 5.00 clock carried news items that safe harbour was provided/contemplated for terrorist. The channel to me has to explain whether all things published in that morning was accurate or cooked up. A constitutional enquiry is to be conducted so that truth can be found out.If what was reported was inaccurate or figment of imagination i want the broadcaster to tender an unqualified apology to the poeple of india & also commit to changing its editorial board.

As a recommendation the sangh wields tremendous influence with BJP, They need to impose laws in respective state that editorial boards have to be audited by respective states & also the annual accounts have to say what influence any foreign investors have which can cause grievous damage to Hindus.The editorial boards have to give license to media once a month to prevent any unwanted influence which can disturb public peace on religious other grounds.

Also editorial staff carrying news should put a small biography of the anchor to say they are not religiously prejudiced in their coverage. Say for example Barkha Dutt is claimed to be dvorced twice to both muslims, she then should bring this fact to notice of the public if it is the truth that her programe which has India/Pakistan or Mf Husain/Hindu apphresion is unbiased despite her practicing religiousity.In the same way if she talks of relationship between two people she should tell the viewers that her martial status was unsuccessful when carrying the program. This gives assurance that the programs are not biased or one sided. As the rules governing the same cannot be legislated we hence feel editorial boards should have a oversight from representatives for fairness justice & accuracy.

I welcome views from enlightened readers as to how we can influence this process.

A) By writing letter to Head of Sangh Parivar.

B) Asking sangh parivar to put these views to states where we have democratically elected the government for giving fair agendas.

C) Influencing central government for enacting regulatory oversight, so that media reports news & does not annoint or thrust leaders to gullible indian public.

D) Coverage every month by independant editorial board in their channel free of cost of the observation of the concerned news channel.

E) Annual review whether 24/7 news is in the good of larger public interest. If the press can clip the wings of bloggers NDTV did this which i found out from googling i am sure similar steps have to be taken.

Wishing & hoping the first step to change will be joined by other concerned Hindus as also Indian citizens on media's nefarious role.
