It has been reported that the Muslim Personal Law Board has termed the proposed Prevention of Communal Violence Bill as harmful to Muslim interests and decided to oppose it. They also see the strategic external relationship with Israel as against Muslim interest. These two policies are extremely vital to Indian security interests. Apparently, they don’t see India’s domestic security and external security interests as compatible with their numerical growth and the age old Islamic practice of ethnic cleansing.

They claim that India should cut off all contacts with Israel as Nehru did because Israel is demolishing Al Asqa Mosqe in Jerusalem. That Mosque is very much in place undisturbed as of this minute. Muslims in Jerusalem and West Bank continue to pray there as of today. What the Muslims don’t want anyone in India to know is that the Al Asqa Mosque was built on the foundation of the oldest Jewish Temple of Solomon, built more than a thousand years before the advent of Islam. First the Muslims built a small prayer house under the Caliphate of Umar Ibn Khattab. A larger mosque was built in the year 705 CE by caliph Abd al-Malik. They continued to rebuild and expand it in 746, 754, 780 and 1033 CE encroching the entire Temple Mount. Until the first time Prophet Muhammad took an about turn and prayed looking at Mecca, Muslims focused on Israel during prayers. They were not focused on Al Asqa mosque which was built a long time after the death of the Prophet. Could anyone deny that their focus was Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem, built more than a thousand years before and destroyed repeatedly by the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Romans and the Christians?

Construction materials used for the holiest of Jewish temples remain buried under the mosque. The position of Temple of Soloman and the Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya have a parallel in that they both were destroyed by invading forces and the occupying powers who built their own prayer halls over the sacred foundations of existing temples. Muslims consider the Al Asqa Mosque as well as the mosque at Janmasthan as holy. What they did was not disregard God or the concept of worshipping God. If God is what the Prophet said God was, it is simple common sense that the structural composition, architecture, methods of worship or the language of worship should not matter. On the contrary, destruction of places of worship, libraries, schools, hospitals, infra structure, standing crops etc have nothing to do with serving God. Neither do massacre of men between the ages of 15 and 55, rape of all women of child bearing age, enslavement of children and old aged and conversion and looting of private property be termed as a method of serving God. All those acts are wicked acts of ignorance and lawlessness practiced by “un-Godly” tyrants who have no idea of or respect for God. Their sole objective is nothing but satisfying their selfishness by looting what other people have worked hard to earn and preserve, by economically exploiting the weak and to multiply their genetic replication by brute force. Nothing is far from being capable of being described as service to God. Reverend Pat Robertson, an Evangelist in the United States says that Islam is not a religion, but a political group. While I am not a fan of Reverend Robertson, I would still call these acts as savage, tyrannical and shameful.

The second important thing the Muslims hide is the fact that the Jews, fleeing religious persecution in Arabia and other Muslim dominated areas in South Central Asia and North Africa where they had lived for hundred of years, were driven off leaving everything they owned in those lands to begin their existence in Israel all over again. The properties left by those Jews in Arabia alone amount to more than 300 billion in US dollars. Personally owned Jewish real estate left in Arabia is more than four times that of the total physical area of Israel. If one does not undersand the economic impact of these numbers, one should ask the Hindus who were forcefully driven off from Pakistan and the present day Bangladesh in 1947. They had to leave everything they had saved and built for hundreds of years in those lands and to begin all over again in scattered all over various parts of India. Same thing is happening in Kashmir, the Hindus who lived in that region driven off to live in total neglect and in abject poverty in tents. No one talks about their rights or paying any kind of compensation. This is how Muslims did ethnic cleansing all over the world as they expanded, be it in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh India, the former Yugoslavia, Albania, Sudan, Nigeria, Chad in currently and in Central African Republic now or in Northern Africa, Southern Europe, and Central and South Asia in the past.

The questions I would ask to All India Muslim Personal Law Board are (1) Are there freedoms of expression and freedom of religion, in Muslim majority countries? (2) Are the laws for Muslims and non Muslims the same in those countries? (3) Is there equality in resource sharing in those countries? (4) Which Muslim country has democracy as it is understood in India? (5) Why the courts in Muslim countries would not listen to a non Muslim’s depositions? (6) Why Muslims in India must have a special law of their own while in no country ruled by majority Muslims there is special law for minorities? (7) Why Islam suppresses regional languages, traditions customs and regional culture as is the practice in Muslim ruled nations? (8) Why do they engage in mudslinging and criticizing of other religions and other peoples’ faith and practices while they deny other communities and people of the same right? (9) Why do they practice religious conversion while they call for the death of people who leave their religion? (10) Why Muslims have no complaint about Muslims digging to cut roads through 2500 year old Jewish cemeteries, using Jewish tombstones to construct walk ways to toiletries, demolishing churches and temples and converting them into cemeteries or into mosques, but they object when people take bath in a lake, the temple in the center of which has been converted into a mausoleum? (11) Why should they have the right to destroy everything of others, be it Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist, Zoroastrians, Christian, Manicheans and other religious people as sacred, but why would not allow people of other religious faith to remain silent and endure those persecutions? (12) Why do they call it Russian suppression in Chechnya while they see it differently when the Berbers in the Algeria seek self determination? (13) Why do they call it American occupation while Iraq remained under Sunny occupation for 1300 years? (14) If Muslims can have a singular Islamic Ummah, why can not the Anglo Saxons, the Hans, the Germans, and the Jews have it? (15) Why countries like Kazaks, Uzbeks, Azerbajanis, Kirghis, Tajikis and Turkmen opted to cede from Soviet Union? (16) Why did Kosovo want to cede from Albania? (17) Why did the Muslims in Bosnia seek separation from Yugoslavia? (18) If Afghanistan, Algeria, Behrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Comoros, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Sarawi, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, UAE, and Yeman can have Islamic states and Islamic Law, why can not India have a Hindu state and Hindu law? (19) Why do Muslims clamor about Gujrat while Hindus have been driven off Kashmir and being persecuted in every Muslim dominated area in India itself? (20) Finally why do Muslims make it a hell for other communities to coexist with them wherever they are?

I am not discussing the merits or demerits of Islam, Islamic Prophet or Islamic way of serving God about which I am least interested. What I am reiterating is the need for peace and tranquility in communities so that people can mind their business, find work, earn living wages, have families, raise their children and make a half way decent living, save some money and create some properties. Would Muslims allow Hindus to live in peace in India?

All India Muslim Personal Law Board dictating domestic security policies and external relations strategies is like the Communist Parties asking India to avoid all types of strategic relations with the United States. Both groups are vested interests and their interests are not compatible with national interest. If there is a caucus of Muslim MPs it is time to realize that Muslim claim of being secular is nonsense. If they could have such a caucus to protect Muslim interests including the protection of Muslim youths involved in terrorist activities, why should they and the Congress party object to BJP and RSS who have no history of terrorist activities? Right minded people in India should take a serious look at the patriotism of Muslims. All MPs who attend such meeting should be termed communal. They represent the interests of Islamic Umma and not of the Indian nation as an entity. Hindus who vote for the Congress Party in the name of secularism while they put up these anti Hindu and anti Indian candidates should have a serious introspection.
