Need for leadership training - No one has challenged Mr. Singh’s freedom of expression. I am sure that members of the Parliamentary Board of the BJP must have done their home work before they took that decision. If Mr. Singh does not understand why he has no place in BJP after writing such nonsense, he lacks basic common sense. In the first place, what he wrote was factually incorrect. Jinnah’s speeches divided people in India and incited a section of the Indian society. Just by saying “we shall do what is required,” hundreds of people in Calcutta were murdered over night. His concept of secularism is suppression of Hindu hopes and aspiration and preservation of people of his faith until they become powerful enough to massacre Hindus again as they did before the British occupation. Non Hindu secular mind only aspire preservation of their faith, way of life and gradual suppression of Hindus. Use of that idea is only to brain wash uneducated people to weaken them and convert them for the purpose of territorial expansion, social control and economic exploitation.

There is no “harvesting of the soul” by peaceful means. Religion, whatever it may be called, to serve God is one thing and Religion to exploit unsuspecting people is another. People who have read world history have no problem in recognizing the fact that the spread of Islam and Christianity throughout the world has resulted in massacre, social control and economic exploitation and transfer of property by violent means. In fact transfer of property is the fundamental objective of religious conversion. Political leaders should focus on contemporary and emerging issues and challenges rather than brooding and lamenting over what happened two or three generations ago. I am glad that BJP leadership took a collective decision to allow Mr. Singh to pursue his fundamental interest, which does not seem to correlate with that of the aspirations of the majority of Indian people.

BJP should use the next five years to develop party rank and file. The first priority is to weed out leaders who harp on issues like Jinnah, partition and Pakistan. That country wants to remain hostile to us. Let them be. We have numerous challenges. Let us focus on preservation of our families, faith, our way of life, territory, hard earned wealth and security. Second is to identify people who have national interest in their mind and train them to understand national and international socio economic, political and security issues for leadership positions at various generational hierarchies. A pyramid like organization depends on a single leader at the top. It is inefficient and a thing of the past. The party should brain storm styles of rotating democratic leadership at every level, with six to ten individuals occupying at decision making committees. Third, the party must instill discipline and train members to understand that their views and statements could be interpreted differently to the disadvantage of the party. Aspiring party leaders should not, without preparation, meet self serving media and criticize each other. Party must identify and empower individuals to speak on various individual issues in the manner as shadow Ministers work in British politics. This will serve the opportunity for the aspiring leaders to practice, show their talent and meet the needs of transition. Forth, the party must find ways to bring back committed leaders who had to leave due to difference of opinion with the leadership and forge alliances with regional leaders of parties which has ideological similarities. Lastly, the party must enhance its outreach with people. Rank and file party workers must meet every individual family in the community and expand the party base.
