Threat to our Civilization
I am tired of this nation appeasing the fundamentalists and fanatics from minorities even when they denigrate and attack the majority Hindus and their religion.
Since the terrorist attacks and attack on our culture by foriegn funded fanatics, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Indians. However, before the dust from the attacks barely settles, the Psudo-secular crowd begin complaining about the possibility that minorities are being targetted. I am not against religious minorities, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who has a different religion.
Our population is almost entirely of people whose ancestors were from India and Hindus. However, there are a few things that those who have converted need to understand. This idea of India being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Indians irrespective of religion, we have our own common Hindu culture, our own society, our own languages and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over 5 thousand years of oppression, trials, and struggle by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. Our civilization has been a beacon of humanity to whole of Asia. India is a holy land for most of Asia.
"Satyamev Jayate" and "Vande Mataram" is our national motto and and our national slogan. This is not some Hindu, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto and slogan because Hindu men and women, on Hindu heritage and principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. If Indonesians, Cambodians, Thais can be proud of their Hindu heritage why can't we. This has nothing to do with religion.
If Durga Puja offends you, or you don't like Ganesh Chaturthi, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how they do things where your religion came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle.
Indian Constitution gives every citizen the right to practice his religion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But don't think we will allow you to destroy our civilization and hand our country as a vassal to your religious masters in west. Once you are through complaining, whining, and griping about our religion, our national song, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great Indian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.Hopefully the missionaries and Arab countries will provide you the asylum.
