The truth seeker has to accept the following principles.
1. Anything that is born must have an end.
2. All things that have a beginning and an end are 'finite' or 'temporary'.
3. Finite processes can lead to only finite results and can never yield infinite results.
4. Only the infinite process is capable of yielding both 'finite' and as well as 'infinite' results.
5. Infinite object can produce finite objects but finite object can never produce infinite object.
There is no need of proof for the above postulates. The bearing of the above postulates in the mind can be called 'sensibility' otherwise it has to be called 'in-sensibility'.
Let's see how much sensible is the man ? Supposing that God himself appears and asks a man to make a wish. Can you imagine, what that man is going to ask ? It is not very difficult to guess because the common man can't simply think beyond the material and the actions ! May be someone would ask for "infinite life span" ! Logically speaking the body is an object that is "born" and therefore is bound to "die", but yet the man wishes to remain in the illusion that may someday something will be invented that will make him "immortal" ! Now a days the man is under the impression that everything is possible and that nothing is possible. That is to say that the man wants to live according to his own imaginations and is not interested to live in reality. "Must have so much money", "must get the desired woman", etc. are the targets set by his imagination as ultimate goals of the life. Let's see how much substance the modern science holds. Three pillars of science are discussed here - Theory of relativity, Third Law of Thermodynamics, Big Bang.
Let's discuss Theory of Relativity. Everyone knows that all motion is relative. According to Theory of Relativity even Time is relative ! For example if a man gets into a super-speed spacecraft, the speed of which is only marginally less than that of light, and travels to a faraway destination from earth and comes back to earth after one month, then it might happen that many years might have passed on the earth ! Scientific experiments don't negate such a possibility. But then suddenly there is the question ! Since all motion is relative, there is nothing wrong in the assumption that the spacecraft remained stationary and that it was the earth that traveled and returned back to the spacecraft ! According to this calculation many years must have passed in the spacecraft ! Since the former and the latter imaginations are in conflict the scientist coined the concept of absolute rest and and tried to explain the anomaly by saying that earth is relatively at rest ! Many scientists have tried to discover this state of absolute rest. One must not surprised to know that there hasn't been iota of success in this direction. Actually most of the people waste their time due to ignorance of the possible and the impossible. The great men are conclusive of the possibilities and impossibilities and therefore don't waste their time. Great men never dream realization of impossibilities. It is not that the state of absolute rest doesn't exist but that it can't be reached by any physical means. All material and actions are physical means. As long as the man is pious about the physical science and thinks that he will get to the ultimate destiny using these means, he can never get rid of his ill - fate. Because all the material and and actions are finite then how can one achieve the infinite using the finite. It is definite that the no physical science can make such a spacecraft that will lead the man to the state of absolute rest !
