insult of our national flag in front of P Chidambaram by Pakistan during a discussion!!
yesterday(26.06.10), our national flag was insulted during discusion between India & Pakistan in front of P Chidambaram but there was no objection from his side or by other delegation!! how he continued the discussion, when in front of him, his motherland's prestige was being raped by porki?
such a level our self respectless, non nationalistic congress politician had gone now that we cant expect any good from them for the country and its majority people!!
yesterday, during the discussion between our HM P Chidambaram & his counterpart Malik of pakistan, somebody has come and turned our national flag upright down on the table in front of them and the green image of flag was kept above while safron at the bottom!!
PC has seen all these in front of his eyes but he did not bother to object or show his unhappiness over this intentional incident!! He had just carried on his so called discussion with his counterpart while they were laughing at him!! later on, in press conference, same PC is declaring that their talk was possitive!!
what possitive talk,immense diplomatic pressure on pakistan, u r talking about when they r not having any respect on us! when ur national flag is being insulted in front of ur eyes by those whom u r believing to make u positive???
what a hypocracy!!!
do u ever know why this act was done by pakistan?? to not only insult ur country but also ur hindu community as safron belongs to hindu color and green belongs to muslim color! so, keeping green above, they tried to give u impression that muslim or pakistan is above u hindu or india!!

India has become such a self respectless country that every tom, dick & harry is daring to insult her !! the reason is , as india is highly ignoring its majority and their view and so the world is taking india as a nut!! remember, if u r not respecting urself, nobody will respect u!!

Thank you for your clarification. I am in agreement with you about your views on the total submissiveness of the Congress Party on the vote bank and the fact that they are incompetent, irresponsible, arrogant and corrupt. I also note the fact that they make hue and cry of the little progress that is being made. Yet again, I am inclined to give the benefit of the doubt to human error. A couple of decades ago the Canadian flag was hoisted in violation of the protocol at the opening ceremony of a very important sporting event. While the national anthem was played, the stadium full of spectators sat in disbelief. Immediately after the anthem was completed, the organizers profusely apologized. The electronic media made a big issue out of it and the organizers again offered public apology with an advertisement. The Canadian media responded in kind “No Offense Taken.” Now I understand that India-Pak relations are not the same as that of US and Canada and Pakistan is not Canada. As I have said before, I would diplomatically ignore them.

so, on national interest also, they think, raising objection means, doing some act against their vote bank in india like they link the hanging of afjal!!
actually , the fact is, now-a-days, congressi politicians have lost the national interest or self respect!! this country is now under the rule of foreigner ! it is now worser than mughal and britisher!! their all this discussion , dossier sending act are only eye washing to halt the public out expression!!
see the market, govt. is raising its hand from control of price of any essential commodities including petro product!! now, where is the end? public will be killed in hunger!! now, is the situation that , per day 7000 nos. are being died of hunger , yearly 25 lakh!! this govt. has made this country highest hunger country! so, where our self respect lies?
india is not a self respectless country but these congressi politicians have this country a self respectless country!! there is no point of debate on this issue , how this country has become self respectless, if someone is living in india and a indian!!

Saugato, I respect your concern and value your suggestions. India has not become a nation without self respect. Unfortunately, we have some political parties and groups of people whose interests have priority over national interests. Probably Chidambaram had too much in his mind to have the presence of mind to immediately point out the difference. It is also possible that the handlers of the situation did a mistake without malice. It was important for Chidambaram’s staff to point out the error and I believe they would have corrected it. In any case, we should allow a little room for honest mistakes which people make in the course of their day to day lives.
I have said it time and again that negotiation with Pakistan are waste of time. They will start a war, a negotiation, or some peace process as a method to stall us and continue their aggressive behavior. Those methods are not new. All the bandit invasions from Northwest took place in similar lines. When things are not working for them, they run away only to return at a time most convenient for them. They also watch the times when their opponents are most unprepared. War is their nature as opposed to our peaceful intentions. These methods have been tried and perfected in the Arabian Desert for hundreds of years. I don’t accept the practice of agreeing to high level discussions on the sidelines of international conferences. Pakistani leaders and officials should not be allowed to meet our senior leaders without the presence of bodyguards.
Politicians should not marginalize bureaucrats and their efforts. Negotiations with Pakistan should be handled after thorough preparations and items outside agenda should not be considered and if Pakistan brings up items outside the agenda, negotiations must end forthwith. Opponents who bring up issues outside the agenda and attempt casual meetings without proper planning are doing it deliberately to upset planned process. Indian leaders have been falling in that trap time and time again.
