Support To Gow Gram Yatra for ban on cow slaughter.:

It is a massive movement to protect the cow, develop the villages and bring prosperity and happiness to the nation. It is an agro-socio, economic revolution and the real independence movement, which will spread the message—“Save the cow, save the nation, save the world, save the village and save the nature”. Over 21 crore people of the country are expected to give their assent over the memorandum, which will be presented to the President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil demanding the total ban on cow slaughter, status of national animal to cattle and implementation of the existing laws against cow slaughter. The saints are going to give a joint call to the countrymen—Chalen gay ki or, chalen gaon ki or, chalen prakrati ki or, chalen gram rajya se Ram rajya ki or (turn to the cow, village, nature and from gram rajya to Ram rajya). The saints will administer a pledge to the farmers and the villagers to adopt the cow-based farming and not to sell the cow and its progeny to butchers at any cost.

The second Indo-Pakistani conflict (1965) was also fought over Kashmir and started without a formal declaration of war. The war began in August 5, 1965 and was ended Sept 22, 1965. The war was initiated by Pakistan who since the defeat of India by China in 1962 had come to believe that Indian military would be unable or unwilling to defend against a quick military campaign in Kashmir, and because the Pakistani government was becoming increasingly alarmed by Indian efforts to integrate Kashmir within India. There was also a perception that there was widespread popular support within for Pakistani rule and that the Kashmiri people were disatisfied with Indian rule.
