Sadhvi Pragya-The war on Hindu Nation

With the arrest of Lt.Col.Srikant Purohit a new chapter have started in the history of India.
A serving military intelligence officer is being treated in the same way and rather more harshly in his own country as he would have been treated in the enemy states of China, Pakistan or Bangaldesh. The fundamental issues of intelligence and national security is being compromised by the anti-national politicians like Sharad Pawar and R.R.Patil, playing the roles of puppets of the these enemy states of Bharata.
Finally,we have in this country what was overdue for long, branding peace loving Hindus as terrorists.Torturing, killing,or jailing innocent Hindus was not an uncommon act before,or neither punishing them for the crime which has been actually perpetrated on them.We have witnessed numerous of such instances, from Bangladesh to Kashmir.
But,the difference between the recent arrest of Sadhvi Pragya, the retired and serving army officers and the continuous battering and persecution of Hindus that goes on in the minute level of cities and villages mainly in the states ruled by the so-called secularist forces, is that , the anti-national forces of politicians, corrupt police and buearacrats for the first time have shown the audacity to stigmatize the saffron with terrorism and thus completely compromise and destroy the last nationalistic force that is protecting Bharata's security interests inside and outside the country ,even in her enemy states.

May be that the scoundrel of the first devastating bomb blasts of 1993 Mumbai, his Excellency Dawood Ibrahim the king of Mumbai is sitting 400 miles from Delhi and planning everyday to smuggle in more RDX and Jehadis, may be all the taxpayers money in the last two decades have not been enough to even bring back a clear photograph of him, although he moves around the world attending marriages, throwing parties on the dead bodies of thousands of Hindu Kafirs. The Indian intelligence agencies which have been almost completely destroyed by the anti-national Indian politicians in the last two, three decades has remained good for only one work, collecting body parts of Hindus after bomb blasts perpetrated by the Muslim terrorists born and bred in this country.

Yes,I know what you are thinking. What was the BJP doing when it was in power?
They did nothing ,as they never spoke a word when the perpetrator of the largest financial stamp paper scam in India's history ABDUL KARIM TELGI took the name of SHARAD PAWAR in the narco-anallysis test.
Mumbai Police commissioner is in jail for giving Telgi a hand. But,Sharad Pawar ? He is a different story.
Formed and changed parties for half a dozen times, Sharad Pawar now a central minister and king of Cricket and with his son like Dawood Ibrahim(self proclaimed) the king of cricket bating and with his another illegitimate son R.R. Patil controlling the Home Ministry of Maharashtra is finding himself ever more powerful than all the nationalistic forces of the country joined together.
How could he forget the days of Ram Janmabhoomi movement when these saffron clad dirty Sadhus and Sadhvis made him bit the dust.Throwed him into rags .All the effort he gave behind Dawood and his Pakistani friends who proved to be a lame horse to stop the Maharashtra Assembly turning Saffron. His war on nationalistic forces became more vivid when the present NCP leader and his close associate,Majid Menon the infamous advocate of Mumbai came out in open court to defend the terrorist band of 1993 blasts accused.

How could Sharad Pawar forget that what tremendous power this little rags of Saffron holds? Well, BJP and L.K. Advani can forget that, but how could he sleep safely with these selfless sadhu sadhvis sitting and propagating relentless nationalism at the edge of his corrupted empire. The bomb torn public of Bharata are again looking for the saffron for a respite .
The only way to confuse the public is to frame them with these bombs ,attack the Hindutva Heartland and with them add some patriotic army officers ,the only nationalistic ,uncorrupted force left in the country.Brand them terrorists and no other officer will dare to be patriotic again. Rather, they may chose to join his corrupted gang.
Destroy the last line of invisible defense and Bharat will stand defenseless and specially if you can have corrupt Maharshtra police officers having the name of ATS to do that.
Mumbai Police now coming with the special feather for their record illegal cash collection from lorries amounting to Rs. 100 crores a year (Guiness book due) went through a major change in the last few years. All the shiny officers,Daya Nayak,Pradeep Sharma and others who stood up against Dawood and cleared Mumbai of the dirty days of gang wars and parallel tax collection system of Dawood, stronger than Govt. of India ,have been sacked or removed by the Dawoods scumbug, NCP led Home minister, R.R PATIL in the last three years.
A new group of pro –NCP, pro- dawood police officers have come up, ready to do anything to earn a few crores of cheap bucks in a short time and ready to go to any extent for that.
Even if it means for Hemant Karkare the ATS chief to tell lies left and right against the saffron clad sadhvi .Like in 2006 Malegaon blasts ATS said SIMI is responsible for the blast. In 2008 Malegaon blasts this same ATS takes a 180 degree turn and feels a few small cultural Hindu groups responsible .In the beginning ATS said traces of RDX have been found in the Malegaon blasts, then they came up with, that this RDX have come from Kanpur ordinance, then suddenly they went a 1000 kms down and arrested the principal of Bhosla army school from Nasik for allegedly holding a meeting in his school premises with Sadhvi Pragya and then released him without saying sorry.
Though It has been established already that Sunil Joshi to whom Sadhvi Pragya have sold her bike have been killed by SIMI in Devas last year.Is it a quite remote chance that SIMI have have used his bike for these Malegaon blasts?
Well the ATS have to do something very special to own the license of undaunted love of R.R Patil and they gifted him by illegaly detaining and then arresting a serving Army Intelligence core officer Lt. Col. Srikant Purohit.N.C.P's step mom Sonia Gandhi of Italy and her christian disciple A.K. Anthony ,compelled the army top brass silently co-operate on that.

And Sonia? ...she had been all along there smiling putting his invisible hand on the bald head of Sharad Pawar to perpetrate this evil crime.
Almost all the Hindu leaders of Congress have been eliminated –sorry they all died of accidents or brain strokes,Madhav Rao Scindhia died of Plane crash,Rajesh Pilot died of lorry accident,Pranab almost came back from his heavenly abode made on West Bengal. It was almost a bulls eye.Now we have Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi on ventilator almost ready to go up with almost no chance of returning.
Well, but you know what? nothing happens to her Christian brigade, let it be herself or her Margarita –di- silva,Oskar fernanndes,A.K Anthony,YSR Reddy or others ,no accidents or unwarranted deaths and as they slowly take the place of these Hindu leaders and Congress silently changes its character. Well, we better see it written on the walls -Jesus always wins.

Sadhvi Pragya went through the lie detector test and brain mapping, narco analysis test and all the physical and psychological investigation system possible in universe and the ATS could find nothing. But, suppose, if they had something?Like Abdul Karim Telgi taking the name of Sharad Pawar in the largest financial scam in India?
We all know what would have happened. She would have been immediately convicted. Pakistan funded Indian media would have teared the air apart as they are already tearing now with nothing.
Now they want Lt. Col. Purohit go through the same process.

We all know that we can never possibly do enough to restore and re-instate the patriotic Hindu Sadhvi in the sacred position that she belonged though she is innocent.
But,what as a citizen of Bharat we can be humbly demand right now on the same grounds is a probe on Sharad Pawar .

1.His role in the stamp paper scam should be investigated, after ABDUL KARIM TELGI taking his name in Narco annalysis how could he escape a fair probe and his connections with Dawood Ibrahim should be examined. Why shouldn't he face the Lie Detector,Brain Mapping and Narco Annalysis tests too.
We demand these tests to be done immediately on Sharad Pawar to investigate his role in stamp paper scam, the largest financial scam in the history of India.

2.Dawood should be brought back immediately to India and his and ISI links with the Indian politicians like Sharad Pawar ,RR Patil should be examined.

3.With the stories of Sanjay Gandhis' infamous common tactics of eliminating political opponents by accidents, still rumbling in the air, will it be very unjust to demand that the sudden deaths of a legion of Hindu Congress leaders and the accidents should be again re-investigated thoroughly?

Remember this is a war on the last layer of Hindu nation and which the Hindus can never afford to lose.

Four explosions rocked various places in Delhi [Images] on Saturday evening, killing seven persons and injuring over 40.

The blasts at Ghaffar market in Karol Bagh, at Connaught Place and Greater Kailash took place in a quick succession, the police said.

The first blast took place at Ghaffar market in which at least 20 people were injured. They were rushed to nearby RML hospital.

Blasts in Delhi

Immediately after that, two explosions took place in Connaught Place, in which at least 10 people were injured.

Another explosion rocked M-Block market in Greater Kailash-I.

The first blast took place at 6:30 pm. The bomb was placed in a dustbin in a parking lot outside Grover's Enterprises, a local shop. The blast caused panic among the shoppers and the shopkeepers downed their shutters.

Ahmedabad Blasts

The second blast occurred 10 minutes later at the Prince Paan shop. The second blast was a higher intensity blast than the rest.

"These are low intensity blasts which appear to be designed to cause mischief rather than loss of life," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal

The impact of the blasts in Karol Bagh could be gauged by the fact that an auto was thrown up and got caught in the electrical wires.

Bengaluru Blasts

Senior police officials including Joint Commissioner of Police Karnail Singh rushed to the spot in the central district and were assessing the situation.

The phone lines in Connaught Place have been jammed and the metro rail services have been stopped.

Extraordinary Problem and Its Extraordinary Solution: Best Way To Tackle Terrorism In India

Till now after reading my previous blogs you all might have a little idea about my writings. I try to formulate a solution for a given problem faced by our nation. Many times these solutions may not be as good as I think of them to be but still I like to try and think about all which is going on in our surroundings and issues which affect our daily lives. I know I am nobody but still I like to spread my thoughts and that’s why I write to you all who know me. You guys are the best judge of my thoughts. I don’t like to be pessimist and always try to look for the positive side. But terrorism is one of the thing about which I can hardly see anything positive. This current blog is been written after thinking of many days where I tried to think different aspects of this problem. Best thing would have been ending of a ideal Bollywood movie where the bad terrorist would return to home after persuasion from his family, friend and lover and lead a normal life. But unfortunately real life is very much different than reel one.

There are certain things which you should think before reading this article further on. These terrorists are not sparing anyone. Earlier they were just attacking police and army posts and taking their revenge against India. They shifted their pattern in Kashmir and Punjab in 1980s and rest of India after Mumbai bomb blasts of 1993. In this new pattern they killed civilians on streets, bazaars and trains. Than attacked places of worships and now with this Hospital blasts in Ahemdabad they have added another very soft target to inflict maximum killings and mayhem. According to latest new reports terrorists planted the bomb in the car which was continuously following the ambulance which was bringing blast victims to hospital. They blasted car in hospital to kill as many innocents as they can through that blast. Now after this act of heinous crime nothing is safe in India. So you never know when the next blast is going to rip your or your loved ones body apart anywhere in India. We are left with very few choices; either you can just sit and pray that you or your loved ones are never going to be victim of this heinous crime against humanity or you can learn by seeing deaths of other people’s loved ones and act now to become more responsible citizen and perform your duties for the nation. Problem is we in India never think of those who are blown apart in these blasts as our own people. Since we and our loved ones are not killed so we will just sit or offer prayers in our places of worship. We act as a passive society which just waits for another bomb blast and speak the same dialogue again and again after any of these acts. Just see our honorable home minister Shivraj Patil. There have been many bomb blasts in his tenure as 4 years of Home Minister and he repeated the same dialogue of not letting any culprit go unpunished for these crimes against citizens of India. Now its altogether a different matter that no prime suspect of any of these blasts has been caught yet. Even though the one who is inside the jail waiting for his death penalty to be executed for past 2 years (Afzal Guru: convicted in Parliament Attack Case of 2003) by authorities, is been kept alive because this stupid government think that it will anger some people of a particular community. I want to ask here if anybody who feels anger by seeing a convicted terrorist like Afzal to be hanged till death, then shouldn’t we identify that person as future terrorist. Why someone will feel anger by seeing a criminal getting his punishment? And if this government of Sonia Maino thinks that a particular community’s member will think like that than isn’t this government is the most communal government ever ruled in India? This government is saying that all members of a particular community sympathize with convicted terrorist and in my view it’s the worst thing you can do to someone.

So anyway Congress and its spineless leaders are not going to be in my good books because of their deeds against this nation. I just want that we should not wait for another bomb blast to happen which involves casualty of our loved ones. For me all law abiding Indian citizens are loved ones and anyone’s unnatural death because of crimes like this makes the same impact every time. Terrorism is not an ordinary crime and solution to this problem is also not going to be ordinary. Sometimes we have to swallow some bitter pill so that we can be cured of a major illness. My solution to this major illness is the same bitter pill. We can think over it and make our government pass this law or we can just wait for another blast to happen and than cry.

I don’t consider terrorists and their sympathizers as humans because they are involved in inhuman acts. Since they are not humans so there cant be any human rights for them. These terrorists are like mad dogs and we kill mad dogs if we find out about them, since there is a danger from these mad dogs to common society. But there is a little difference between dogs and humans. In humans we have something very special which is known to all of us as our families and close friends. We share our grief, sorrow and pains with them. Families and close friends most of the times act as support structure for any individual and most of the times all family members know whats going on with other members life. Parents watch their kids and hope for their wellbeing and most of the times they know whats going on with their kids. If not parents than close friends and siblings are aware of all or some of the mess which we have in our life.

I would like to propose for a anti terror law which gives the same punishment to immediate family members and close friends as of convicted terrorist which is death. Please don’t get mad at me as this is the only effective solution which can prevent bomb blasts from happening. This type of law will act as a deterrent in would be bomb planter’s mind about the consequences of his act. He or she will think thousands of times before planting any explosive device anywhere. Just finding and killing a hardcore terrorist wont solve the problem now. Because those who plant bombs to kill innocents don’t have any regard for their lives. They don’t care about their own lives. But when life of terrorist’s family members are involved, who most of the time know what their daughters and sons are upto, he or she wont try to do such type of inhuman act majority of the times.

We can have certain provisions which can give pardon to a family. Most important of this provision would be if family members themselves inform law authorities about their terrorist minded children than they should get immunity from punishment. This law will work wonders in many ways as parents will start taking care of their own kids so that they don’t fall in wrong hands and all would be terrorists think about damage involved after they get caught and convicted for terror crimes.

There should be a separate police and courts to tackle this type of problem, which should directly work under a committee headed by army chief. Involving Army chief will give assurance of impartiality for those who are getting convicted under new anti terror law. Legal experts can define several options which can prevent punishment for innocents. Terrorism is violent but more of the fear psychological crime which tries to feed fear in common citizen’s mind. We should have such a law which takes this fear to terrorist and their sympathizer’s mind. They should know that they are going to pay heavily for their inhuman acts. It should be the terrorist who live in fear and not the common masses of our country. Because its terrorist who are doing bad things and not the common masses.

This law will solve all types of terror by Jehadi fundamentalist, ULFAs, Maoists, Naxalites, NSCNs and likes of them.

Another must thing to do is form all India school curriculum and all children irrespective of their faiths and communities should be taught same course throughout India. If some parents wants their kids to have religious education than they can go there after school hours or on weekends. If some parents want their children to become Pandits, Maulavis or priests then there should be a curriculum dedicatedly dealing with religious education in all religion. But course taught should be from one central government authority and government may take help of all religious leader heads for making that curriculum. This type of thing would promote national harmony and will prevent kids from getting carried away with unhealthy thoughts.

I think I said enough. But still in my view these are the best solutions for terror free India. If you like it then please try to circulate it around. Please think on what kind of India we want for our future generation. Think and act. Time is running out. Arise and awake Indians..

Bomb Blasts:Does anybody care?

Nithin Sridhar

		Two
more terrorist attacks, a series of bomb blasts in two prosperous
cities, many people dead, many more injured and a grave national loss!
This has become a part and parcel of Indian life. The target shifts,
outfits involved in terrorism changes, but the impact remains same and
the intentions remain the same. This time the location was first
Bengaluru, the Garden City, an IT hub and, next, Ahmedabad, one of the
fastest developing cities of the country.

		In Bengaluru, low
intensity blasts took place in the afternoon of 25 July 2008 in which
at least two persons died and seven were injured. While the first seven
blasts took place between 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm. The eighth bomb blasted
at Hosaguddahalli near Gopalan Mall on Mysore road at about 5.30 pm and
the ninth blasted near the Army Engineering College on Mysore Road at
6.30 pm.

The Bengaluru Police has termed it as an act of terror.
The crude bombs, stuffed with nuts and bolts, exploded at Madiwala,
Adugodi, Nayandahalli, Pantharapalya and Vittal Mallya Road. Bengaluru
Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri said the blasts were of low intensity
and gelatine sticks were used. Preliminary investigations show that the
bombs were attached to a timer device and were triggered off by a
mobile phone.

On Saturday, 17 bombs exploded in Ahmedabad killing 45 people and injuring over 100. The death toll is constantly on the rise.

		All
bombs were reportedly planted on bicycles and went off within a time
span of 70 minutes — between 6:30 pm and 7:40 pm IST — in various parts
of the city.

Most of these blasts were reported from eastern
Ahmedabad, in the upper-middle-class dominated areas of Bapu Nagar,
Amraiwadi, Sarangpur, Jawahar Nagar, Narol Circle, Sarkhej, Isanpur and
Haksar.
The first bomb exploded at a bus stand Mani Nagar area
around 6:35 pm.There was a second blast, also in Mani Nagar, inside the
premises of LG Hospital. There was another blast in the premises of
Vadilal Sarabhai Hospital. Two blasts were reported soon after from
Sarkhej. While the first was in a city transport bus, the other was
reported from Sangam theatre. Soon after, there were two blasts in Bapu
Nagar — one outside the railway station, the other inside a bus.

		Minutes
before the blasts, the Intelligence Bureau and various media houses
received an e-mail from a little known group that called itself the
“Indian Mujahideen”, warning of an imminent attack. The e-mail said the
outfit’s intention was to cause panic and fight political groups that
were opposed to Islam. The mail read, 'We, the Indian Mujahideen, have
carried out attacks and will continue to do so. Stop us if you can.”

		A
live bomb was defused near a hospital and two cars stuffed with
explosives were found in and on the outskirts of Surat on Sunday,
sparking a high security alert in the diamond city. The car, bearing
the number plate GJ 6 CD 3569, was found laden with explosives in
Punagam area. The police have recovered some powder-like material,
gelatine sticks and shrapnel from the car, Police Inspector MR Chavda
said. Later, the police located another car with explosives at the
Heerabagh locality, Surat Police Commissioner R MS Brar informed.
Earlier, the police had found a live bomb near a hospital from the New
Citylight area of Surat after some residents informed the police about
it.

	As
in the past, television, newspapers and all sources of media reported
the incident prominently in prime-time slots and front pages. But you
know, tomorrow some other ‘news’ will make them forget the ghastly
incidents. People have lost interest in what these journalists say;
they comment about the sad state of affairs and then forget it
accepting defeat in the hands of ‘fate’. Police carry out some
investigation, claim it to be the handiwork of the investigative agency
from across the border and move on! Either no one is arrested or no
arrest leads to a breakthrough in the investigation so that any
individual, group or country can be pinned down. Government and
politicians make speeches, some political parties say "terrorism has no
religion", ask the "majority to maintain calm" and the opposition says
"government is soft on terror"… All so very predictable!

	A
question must be asked: Is anybody concerned? Is anybody ready to see
the larger picture, so to speak? Is anybody doing anything to safeguard
ordinary citizens and the nation from terrorists?

	It seems
concerned citizens are a minority and are in no position to make any
substantive change in the Indian society, which is now full of those
who lust over money, sell their souls, and betray the nation. The rest
are bigmouthed non-performers who fancy being known as 'intellectuals'.
The third group is the biggest culprit: "I don’t care; it’s
commonplace," muse idiots. It’s high time for action. Those who are
concerned should chart out long-term and short-term strategies to fight
the menace.

Terrorism may not have a religion, but terrorists
do. Everybody knows that there is only one religion, thousands of whose
followers call for and subscribe to “global jihad”. Study any other
terrorist group (Maoists, LTTE, ULFA, etc), and you will find that
their recruits have not assembled under an umbrella in the name of
religion; what unites them is a political or an economic reason.
Besides, there co-religionists from different parts of the world do not
throng India or sneak into it to join them in the assault on this state.

	Therefore,
in the short term, if madrassahs, especially those along the Pakistan
and Bangladesh border, are monitored, it should help. It’s very
unfortunate that violence-free interpretations of the sacred texts of
Islam do not arouse the kind of passion in Muslim crowds that
violence-ridden rhetoric by Islamic fundamentalists do. It is true that
peaceful Muslims are more in number, but their lack of prominence as
anti-jihadis in the national scene does a tremendous disservice to the
whole community. “Islam means peace/welfare” and “we condemn terrorism”
sound vacuous when these sound-bytes are given by moderate Muslims a
day after every terrorist strike in India. Whatever happened to the
recent fatwa against terrorism? Was it valid? Does Islam authorise such
edicts? Did any Muslim take that fatwa seriously?

	The other
strategy is for the members of the media to sit together and agree
upon. How about reporting a terrorist attack in a bland manner instead
of getting into the gory, graphic details? Remember, the sight of blood
that shocks an ordinary citizen, inspires the terrorist at the same
time.

Next, “difficult terrains” is no excuse. Borders with
Bangladesh and Pakistan should be completely sealed. All illegal
Bangladeshi infiltrators should be sent back.

	A medium-term plan
involves politics. The legislature should make tough laws and the
executive take tougher, faster actions, instead of indulging in
minority appeasement and vote-bank politics.

	In the long term,
people should be made aware of the real causes and nature of terrorism.
They should be explained how terrorism is not only a political motive
of our western neighbour, but also a religious motive deeply rooted in
such Islamic doctrines that instigate jihad, whose supporters are many
within the country. This could be done by publishing books, pamphlets
and holding conferences, in mass awareness programmes.

	Government
should corner the country’s hostile neighbours in the international
community and not be soft on them on the issues of national security.
So far, diplomatic pressure on the countries sponsoring or harbouring
terrorists has left a lot to be desired. India realises that it has to
fight this war alone. But the grit of a lone fighter is conspicuous by
its absence.

	Rise India!

19/01/90: When Kashmiri Pandits fled Islamic terror

Srinagar, January 4, 1990. Aftab, a local Urdu newspaper, publishes a press release issued by Hizb-ul Mujahideen, set up by the Jamaat-e-Islami in 1989 to wage jihad for Jammu and Kashmir's secession from India and accession to Pakistan, asking all Hindus to pack up and leave. Another local paper, Al Safa, repeats this expulsion order.

In the following days, there is near chaos in the Kashmir valley with Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and his National Conference government abdicating all responsibilities of the State. Masked men run amok, waving Kalashnikovs, shooting to kill and shouting anti-India slogans.

Reports of killing of Hindus, invariably Kashmiri Pandits, begin to trickle in; there are explosions; inflammatory speeches are made from the pulpits of mosques, using public address systems meant for calling the faithful to prayers. A terrifying fear psychosis begins to take grip of Kashmiri Pandits.

Walls are plastered with posters and handbills, summarily ordering all Kashmiris to strictly follow the Islamic dress code, prohibiting the sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks and imposing a ban on video parlours and cinemas. The masked men with Kalashnikovs force people to re-set their watches and clocks to Pakistan Standard Time.

Shops, business establishments and homes of Kashmiri Pandits, the original inhabitants of the Kashmir valley with a recorded cultural and civilisational history dating back 5,000 years, are marked out. Notices are pasted on doors of Pandit houses, peremptorily asking the occupants to leave Kashmir within 24 hours or face death and worse. Some are more lucid: "Be one with us, run, or die!"

* * *

Srinagar [Images], January 19, 1990. Jagmohan arrives to take charge as governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Farooq Abdullah, whose pathetic, whimpering, snivelling government has all but ceased to exist and has gone into hiding, resigns and goes into a sulk. Curfew is imposed as a first measure to restore some semblance of law and order. But it fails to have a deterrent effect.

Throughout the day, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists use public address systems at mosques to exhort people to defy curfew and take to the streets. Masked men, firing from their Kalashnikovs, march up and down, terrorising cowering Pandits who, by then, have locked themselves in their homes.

As evening falls, the exhortations become louder and shriller. Three taped slogans are repeatedly played the whole night from mosques: 'Kashmir mei agar rehna hai, Allah-O-Akbar kehna hai' (If you want to stay in Kashmir, you have to say Allah-O-Akbar); 'Yahan kya chalega, Nizam-e-Mustafa' (What do we want here? Rule of Shariah); 'Asi gachchi Pakistan, Batao roas te Batanev san' (We want Pakistan along with Hindu women but without their men).

In the preceding months, 300 Hindu men and women, nearly all of them Kashmiri Pandits, had been slaughtered ever since the brutal murder of Pandit Tika Lal Taploo, noted lawyer and BJP national executive member, by the JKLF in Srinagar on September 14, 1989. Soon after that, Justice N K Ganju of the Srinagar high court was shot dead. Pandit Sarwanand Premi, 80-year-old poet, and his son were kidnapped, tortured, their eyes gouged out, and hanged to death. A Kashmiri Pandit nurse working at the Soura Medical College Hospital in Srinagar was gang-raped and then beaten to death. Another woman was abducted, raped and sliced into bits and pieces at a sawmill.

In villages and towns across the Kashmir valley, terrorist hit lists have been floating about. All the names are of Kashmiri Pandits. With no government worth its name, the administration having collapsed and disappeared, the police nowhere to be seen, despondency sets in. As the night of January 19, 1990, wears itself out, despondency gives way to desperation.

And tens of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits across the valley take a painful decision: to flee their homeland to save their lives from rabid jihadis. Thus takes place a 20th century Exodus.

* * *

Srinagar, January 19, 2005. There are no Kashmiri Pandits in Srinagar, or, for that matter, anywhere else in the Kashmir valley; they don't live here anymore. You can find them in squalid refugee camps in Jammu and Delhi. As many as 300,000 Kashmiri Pandits have fled their home and hearth and been reduced to living the lives of refugees in their own country.

Two-thirds of them are camping in Jammu. The rest are in Delhi and in other Indian cities. Many of them, once prosperous and proud of their rich heritage, now live in grovelling poverty, dependent on government dole and charity. In these 15 years, an entire generation of exiled Kashmiri Pandits has grown up, without seeing the land from where their parents fled to escape the brutalities of Islamic terrorism, a land they dare not return to, although that land still remains a part of their country.

A large number of them are suffering from a variety of stress and depression related diseases. A group of doctors who surveyed the mental and physical health of the Kashmiri Pandits living in refugee camps, found high incidence of 'economic distress, stress induced diabetes, partial lunacy, hypertension and mental retardation.' Statistics reflect high death rate and low birth rate among the Kashmiri Pandit refugees.

And thereby hangs a tragic tale that has been all but wiped out from public memory.

An entire people have been uprooted from the land of their ancestors and left to fend for themselves as a weak-kneed Indian state shamelessly panders to Islamic terrorists and separatists who claim they are the final arbiters of Jammu and Kashmir's destiny. A part of India's cultural heritage has been destroyed; a chapter of India's civilisational history has been erased.

Had this tragedy occurred elsewhere in Hindu majority India, and had the victims been Muslims, we would have described it as 'ethnic cleansing' and 'genocide.' We would have made films with horror-inducing titles. We would have filed cases in the Supreme Court of India. Our media would have marshalled remarkable rage in reporting the smallest detail.

But, this tragedy has occurred in Muslim majority Kashmir valley, and the victims are all Hindus, that too Pandits. What has been lost is part of India's Hindu culture, what has been erased is integral to India's Hindu civilisation.

Therefore, the government makes bold to record that the Kashmiri Pandits have "migrated on their own" and their 'displacement (is) self-imposed;' the National Human Rights Commission, after a perfunctory inquiry, refuses to concede that what has happened is 'genocide' or 'ethnic cleansing,' though facts add up to no less than that, never mind that 300,000 lives have been destroyed.

And, our jhola-wallah brigade of secular activists rudely turn up their noses to the plight of Kashmiri Pandits: Hindu sorrow, inflicted by Islamic terror, stinks.

Today, on January 19, the 15th anniversary of the forced flight of Kashmiri Pandits, look back at India's wretched history of secular politics and consider the terrible price the nation has paid at the altar of appeasement because the Indian State has, and continues to, toe the line of least resistance.

Outraged chorus from Muslim groups to CPM: Support China, don’t use us to push your case

aul & Virendra Nath Bhatt

New Delhi, Lucknow, June 24: CPM
Politburo member M K Pandhe today tried to claim he didn’t mean to
inject a “communal” twist in the nuclear deal debate. But his remark
that “an overwhelming majority of the Muslim masses” oppose the nuclear
deal and that Mulayam Singh Yadav should think twice before supporting
it sparked off a chorus of outrage from Muslim organisations and
leaders to the Samajwadi Party itself. ain from virtually all
Muslim leaders The Indian Express spoke to was: the CPM’s attempt to
communalise foreign policy was condemnable and, yes, some Muslim groups
are opposed to the nuclear deal with the United States but that has
nothing to do with their being Muslim. Remarks like these, they said,
only end up alienating Muslims further by reinforcing the stereotype
that Muslims have to “prove” their loyalty to the “national interest”
every time there is a debate over it.

“I know about minorities very well,” said SP chief Mulayam
Singh Yadav angrily when reporters asked him about Pandhe’s remarks. He
spoke to CPM general secretary Prakash Karat over the phone and is
learnt to have told him that his party will take a call on the deal
after a meeting with the UNPA on July 3.

The Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind, India’s largest Muslim
organization, has decided to convene a meeting of its working committee
on July 1 to protest against CPM’s attempt to “club the nuclear deal
with the Muslim community.” Said spokesperson Moulana Abdul Hameed
Noomani: “What right does the CPM have to speak on behalf of the Muslim
community? And, more importantly, why have they singled out the Muslim
community on this issue? It may serve their political purpose but it
was ethically wrong and we are bound to express our strong reservation
against this,” he said.

“The Indo-US nuclear deal,” said Noomani, “is an issue of
national significance. Every community member is bound to have their
own take on the issue. Why is the Left is not talking about what other
communities feel? What the Left is now doing is nothing but dirty
politics.”

Noomani acknowledged that there are questions about the
deal. “It’s true that there are many in the community who are
suspicious about the American involvement in the deal but in every
community there will be those who oppose it and who support it. The
issue is not whether the deal is good or bad. The issue is why has the
CPM singled out Muslims? It’s high time the CPM realizes that national
interest is more important than ideological interest. They can go on
supporting China but don’t use the Muslim community to make their
case,” he said.

The Jamaat-e-Islami, which has been opposing the deal right
from the beginning, is also angry at Pandhe’s remarks. “We oppose the
deal because we feel it is not in the national interest. But it’s wrong
of the CPM to club the nuclear deal with the Muslim community. It only
communalises the issue,” said S Q R Illyasi, spokesperson of
Jamaat-e-Islami.

“Left parties are using the shoulders of the Muslims to
pursue their own agenda. The deal is strictly a political and
diplomatic issue between two sovereign governments so how can it be
linked to Islam or any other religion?’” said Maulana Khalid Rashid,
Naib imam of the Idgah Lucknow.

Rashid had another question for the CPM. “How come the Left
advocates the cause of Muslims despite clear evidence that Muslims are
the most deprived and disadvantaged sections of the society in the
Communist government of West Bengal.”

He however added that common Muslims do have reservations
with the growing ties of India with the USA. “They view USA as an
adversary and they feel by entering into any deal with the US, India
will have to follow their dictates”, he added.

Said Zafaryaab Jilani, member of the All India Muslim
Personal Law Board: “The nuclear deal is a political issue and cannot
be linked with Islam.” Saying that there was disquiet in the community
over the US Administration “equating Islam with terrorism,” he said:
“Many Muslims feel that the deal with the US will ultimately hurt the
interests of the country and that means everybody, not just Muslims
alone.”

This is reinforced by empirical data from the survey of
18,750 voters conducted by The Indian Express in partnership with
CNN-IBN and CSDS in September 2007 ¿ also a moment when tensions
between the UPA and the Left over the deal seemed to have reached a
tipping point. The survey across 18 states found that only 26 per cent
of the respondents claimed knowledge about the nuclear deal - this was
the group that claimed highest exposure to the media, defined in terms
of frequency of TV news viewership and newspaper readership. Within
this small percentage, however, the verdict was split more or less
evenly, except among Left voters.

Significantly, division among Muslims approximated the
division in the larger population — 19 per cent supported the deal and
15 per cent were opposed to it. In other words, the survey found no
evidence to support Pandhe’s remarks that invoke a monolithic “Muslim”
opinion that is against the deal.

Kolkata airport: Map redrawn, land to be acquired, high-rises trimmed to save mosque

Development runs deep—but devotion runs deeper.
So an ancient mosque on a tiny patch of 1,200 square feet of land right
next to a runway has forced a redrawing of the entire Rs 2,000-crore
map to upgrade Kolkata airport.

An extra 25,000 square metres has to be acquired,
crores have to be spent on building a detour and several high-rise
buildings have to be compensated because they have to knock off their
top floors in line with the new plan.

The project, cleared yesterday by the Public
Investment Board under the ministry of Finance is all set to go to the
Cabinet—after a very public spat between Civil Aviation Minister Praful
Patel and the Planning Commission over delays—and envisages extension
of the second runway at the Kolkata airport.

The Kolkata airport has two runways: the main
runway, 3,627m, that carries bulk of the air traffic, and a shorter
one, 2,399 m, which is inadequate to service large aircraft, and so
needs to be extended by another 440 m to the north.

But this is exactly where the 117-year old Bankra
mosque — where on an average 30 people offer prayers each day under
tight security — lies, less than 100 feet from the north end of the
shorter runway, Also, the walls of the mosque cannot withstand
vibrations caused by aircraft landing or taking off.

“We have tried to negotiate with the masjid
committee numerous times. We have also tried to give them land outside
the port and offered to create a replica of the masjid elsewhere but to
no avail,” says SPS Bakshi, Director (Projects), Netaji Subhash Chandra
Bose International Airport. Result: the Airports Authority of India has
decided to extend the runway towards the southern side.

“This means we have to lease out more than 25,000
square metres of land to the state government for the diversion,” says
another official of he AAI. The AAI will spend Rs 2 crore and the state
government will provide Rs 3 crore. Also, an existing road, running
from Kaikhali to Narayanpur (Rajarhat) will need to be diverted.

Then there is the issue of a new taxiway that
needs to be constructed joining the northern end of both the runways.
The taxiway needs to be at least 30 m wide to allow for wingspan of
aircraft like A-380. As per the blueprint, the taxiway will intersect
with the barb-wired path leading to the mosque. This poses a security
threat and to circumvent it, a new path leading to the mosque has to be
constructed. This, in all probability, will be a subway and will mean
an extra Rs 20 crore, say officials.

“The authorities are in constant dialogue with
the members of the masjid committee to bring out a viable solution to
the problem. The extension of the runway towards the south will mean
diverting the Kaikhali road and paying compensation to the building
owners whose buildings will now come under height restriction. AAI is
already conducting a survey to mark the buildings,” said Deepankar
Ghosh, leader of the AAI employees union.

Says Abid Ali, a senior influential member of the
committee that runs the mosque, “Thirty years ago the civil aviation
department of India had evicted us from our land and relocated us at
Bankra on the understanding that the mosque will never be demolished.
We cannot let the mosque be destroyed.”

Amitava Nandi, CPM Member of Parliament, Dum Dum,
passes the buck to the Centre. “The mosque is on AAI’s land and the
Centre should speak to the Imam in New Delhi to shift the structure to
a different area. As of now the Centre is not taking any initiative
about this. What can the state do?” he asks.

That’s not all. Aviation regulations have height
restrictions for buildings within 10 km of the runway. The extension of
the runway to the south to keep the mosque intact means that
multi-storeyed buildings that were permitted in the adjacent Rajarhat
area, will now need to lose some of their top floors. “This will
require us to pay compensation amounting to crores, we are working this
out,” said a senior AAI official. A mapping of the area is being done
to identify which structures have to be trimmed accordingly.

In fact, this week, the DCL Housing Development
Company is the first one to receive a notice to construct Ground plus
17 and not Ground plus 19 floors it had got clearance for. A detailed
survey is under way to identify such houses that would have to conform
to the height restrictions.

“We will be extending one runway to 12,000 feet
and the other one to 10,500 feet without touching the mosque. It is
wrong to say that top floors of some buildings will have to go for the
10,500 feet runway expansion, no such thing will happen.

However, we are still negotiating to have the
mosque relocated elsewhere and we will bear the cost of relocation as
we usually do in case of shifting of religious structures. We had also
taken up the issue with the West Bengal CM a couple of months back but
then he had said that his hands were full so the issue could be
addressed at a later stage. So we have not really lost hope on the
issue”, said a senior official from AAI.

http://www.expressindia.com/latest-news/Kolkata-airport-Map-redrawn-land...

Terrorists Menace India's Rock Capital

This weekend, The New York Times sent back a report from a visit to Shillong, a city that the paper says is the "hub" of India's rock and roll scene. The Times describes the town as full of Bob Dylan singalongs and guitar circles, but it's not all peace, love and music.

The city is located in the northeastern corner of India, an area that the Shillong Times says is "under Islamist rebel threat." Militants from nearby Bangladesh are a growing presence in the region and they're not rock fans.

A local message board that contains postings for heavy metal
drummers and ads for rock festivals also has evidence of the tension
between local music fans and the mujahideen. The board has messages
from a 2007 show by the internationally-known Brazilian thrash metal
band Sepultura that was nearly canceled after pressure from Muslim fundamentalists.

The Shillong Times says a banned Bangladeshi jihadist
group, Allah'r Dal, is responsible for multiple terrorist attacks and
for "fueling insurgency in India." The mujahideen aren't even the only
fighting force amassed near the city. Security analysts say Northeast
India is teeming with militant leftist groups that are behind "Asia's longest running insurgency."

With a dual uprising in full effect, Shillong doesn't seem to be
the safest destination for music lovers. Now that they've recommended
rock concerts in Shillong, maybe next week the Times will tell us about a great bed and breakfast in Kashmir?

in the peace process, which was set in motion five years ago, according
to the Jammu and Kashmir [Images] Liberation Front.

"Kashmir
is not a border dispute between India and Pakistan that they will sit
together and resolve it and thrust the decision on Kashmiris," JKLF
Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik told reporters in Srinagar [Images] on Monday.

"We
appeal to both India and Pakistan to make Kashmiris a party in the
peace process aimed at resolving the Kashmir issue," Malik, who
returned to Srinagar after his 22-day Pakistan tour, said.

"We
should be involved in the peace talks so that a solution acceptable to
the people of Kashmir and both India and Pakistan can be arrived at,"
the chairman said.

It is only through dialogue that the Kashmir issue can be solved, he said.

"We
have sacrificed one lakh people in the last 18 years. We are in favour
of resolving the issue through dialogue," Malik said.
