Kerala Newsletter CPM anarchy in Kerala Cadres attack police station, release culprits

“We will make bombs in police stations to take on RSS,” Kerala Home Minister and Kannur strongman of CPM, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, had declared immediately after swearing in 2006. True to his words, the CPM and DYFI hegemony on police stations is leading the state to chaos, explosion and anarchy. Not only police stations, but jails in Kerala have also become killing-grounds for CPM goons to take on their adversary, the RSS.

On August 27, a prisoned RSS worker in Poojapura Central Jail of Thiruvanthapuram, Bose, was taking his bath when Krishna Kumar, Goonda and a criminal belonging to CPM Goonda gang of Omprakash, started attacking him with steel vessels and mugs. Bose sustained deep head injuries when other prisoners rushed to the spot Krishna Kumar ran away. The prisoners rushed to the Jail superintendent’s room and demanded Bose to be taken to Medical College for treatment. By then, the CPM prisoners rushed to the spot in a bid to attack the other RSS prisoners. Prompt intervention by the Jail IG prevented the explosive situation.

By then, knowing the attack on their cadres, RSS workers, in hundreds, rushed to the jail gate and demanded immediate medical attention for Bose. Bose was rushed to the Medical College Hospital and admitted for scan and stitching. Trouble had been brewing in the jail for the past one week owing to the CPM protest against the Rakshabandhan conducted by RSS leaders and prisoners in the jail premises. Owing to the CPM pressure, the Jail Superintendent who allowed the function was shunted away.

For the past two decades, jails in Kerala are under total hegemony of CPM. Most of the jail authorities and jailors are under the diktats of CPM prisoners. Drugs, quality food, liquor, TV, mobile phones and even girls are made available to CPM prisoners. Moreover CPM prisoners are housed in separate wards. They always carry weapons in jail premises. On several occasions especially in Kannur Jail, RSS workers have been the victim of CPM attacks. In 2005, all the RSS prisoners in Kannur Jail were shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Jail, following attacks on them. Immediately after CPM came to power, it wanted the RSS prisoners, involved in CPM-RSS clashes in Kannur, to be shifted back to Kannur, obviously with murderous intentions. This was opposed by the honest and upright Jail DGP MGA Raman. He was then shunted out. But due to High Court intervention, as a result of RSS petition, the CPM ploy didn’t work.

The CPM plays politics even in getting parole. While CPM prisoners are granted parole most parts of the year, RSS prisoners are not given parole even for deaths, marriages and chronic illnesses.

Similar to the Naxal attacks on police stations, the Kottakkal Police Station in Malappuram district witnessed attacks on its inmates in the early hours of August 30 by a 30 strong DYFI goons gang. Hamdan, DYFI secretary, an accused in several cases including attacks on Muslim League corporators, shopping complexes and criminal cases, was arrested on midnight of August 29-30. At 4.15 am, 30 DYFI workers stormed the Station, attacked the Sentry on guard duty, threw away his rifle, released and forcibly took away Hamdan. The police force in the Station—Assistant S.I. Sadanandan, Head Constable Moosa and lady constables Philomina and Mary who tried to prevent them were brutally attacked and molested. They are in hospital with serious head injuries. Due to media and political hue and cry three DYFI leaders and Hamdan were rearrested. But the police personnel who resisted the DYFI attack, were suspended. Doing duty promptly is not allowed in CPM land!

CPM, DYFI, SFI and CITU hegemony on police stations, has always been the bonus of CPM rule. Many police stations, including Pathanamthitta, recently, has been the scene of CPM storming. In Thiruvananthapuram, a constable and SI, who prevented a traffic offence, were publically slapped and the Commissioner was pushed aside.

In a bid to control the sole voice that has been able to resist its hegemony politically and physically, the CPM Home Minister is contemplating curbing the RSS shakhas in the name of controlling Jehadi SIMI and NDF.

CPM enters five star hotel venture

The Kerala unit of the CPI(M), backed by an asset base worth more than Rs 4,000 crore and a vast cadre system, is in the last stages of entering the glittering area of hospitality business with a five-star hotel. The party, which had on last Sunday opened a Rs 30-crore water theme-cum-amusement park at its fortress Kannur, would soon launch the new business with a Rs 25-crore five-star hotel and a hospitality institute in Kozhikode city.

A 58-cent land plot has already been acquired by the party-controlled Kozhikode Tourism Development Society, a Communist cooperative, for the purpose and top leaders are busy collecting money from investors for the project. The party-controlled society purchased the land from the director board of the legendary ComTrust Spinning and Weaving Mills through a court case in the context of suspicions that the cooperative bank controlled by CMP could take it over.

Everything needed for the setting up of the star hotel-cum-hospitality institute project has been organised and the director boards of the society for its promotion has already been constituted. The director board has two CPI(M) Ministers, party's Kozhikode district committee secretary TP Ramakrishnan and Kozhikode City Mayor M Bhaskaran as members.

Top party leaders refused to explain the project but one claimed there was nothing wrong in a Communist party trying to establish a network of bright businesses. The party now owns three television channels, specialty hospitals and a theme park.

Society vice-chairman M Mehaboob said efforts had already begun for the project and that they were collecting money for it. The basic individual shares in the society were being given for Rs 5,000 a unit and a single member could take several shares.

At the same time, the CPI(M) has also begun efforts to solve the problem of space as far as the star hotel project is concerned. Since 58 cents of land is insufficient for a star hotel project in the modern era, the party is planning to annexe the 2.5 acres of land still owned by the ComTurst Cooperative, ruled presently by a governing body constituted by trade union representatives, cashing in on its financial crisis.

Reliable sources in the CPI(M) admitted that the CITU representative on the board had started lobbying for the sale of the land to the party on the pretext that such a deal would bring enough money to ComTrust to settle its liabilities. PM Suresh Babu, director of ComTrust representing pro-CPI AITUC, said the land could be bought by the CPI(M) for the project.

At the same time, several members on the director board of ComTrust said the CITU had played a big role in bringing ComTrust to its present pathetic condition through workers' strikes for unjustifiable reasons. KC Abu, Congress district committee secretary, said the CPI(M) move was a challenge to the people, especially workers of the company. "If the CPI(M) is feeling that business is better than political work it should do it but must not use the ComTurst land for that," he said.

Meanwhile, opposition to the party's race for starting big business ventures is coming up from the grassroots level, where cadre are feeling that the leaders are up to some big mischief which they cannot understand. The general feeling is that the top leaders of the party, especially those from the neo-liberalist camp, are building up an asset base which would look after their financial interests in the future if something happens to the party.

"When the party was planning to launch a television channel, we all had worked for that tirelessly as there was a thinking that the party should have a good presence in electronic media just like we have it in the print sector with Desabhimani daily. But one fine morning the leaders simply announced that the CPI(M) had nothing to do with the management of Kairali TV to escape some crisis in the context of the group war. I am convinced that this is not the way to treat us, who had worked for that channel, who had bought shares in it simply because we wanted it to come up," said a branch committee secretary in Alappuzha.

July 08,’08,the Swami was beaten ruthlessly tied with a tree by the
aforesaid CPIM leaders to murder him. The Swami just tried to erect a
pillar to protect the ashram fence after offering his morning prayer.
The pillar was destroyed by the CPIM goons in the last night. The
electronic media of Bengal telecast the ghastly sight of sever body
assault upon a senior monk after stripping off his saintly robes.

The
Police came to the spot when the Swami was senseless and the CPIM &
Muslim fanatics satisfied themselves by a enormous blood-shed of a
peaceful Hindu Monk. The Police admitted the Swamiji in nearby Padmer
Hat Rural hospital, but arrested not a single culprit caused murderous
activities upon Swami Punnyalokananda on spot. Swamiji had many
injuries in whole body including scull. A police case was started by
Joynagar Police Station on 08/07/08 vide P.S Case No.168/08 after a
dairy registered by the Swamiji

Afterwards
some devotees of Swamiji took him at SSKM(PG) Hospital Kolkata for a
better treatment on 09.07.08. C.T Scan of Brain & other speciality
treatment was done there. The health of Swamiji is now out of danger.
Swamiji also personally met the District Magistrate &
Superintendent of Police, South 24 Pgs., for appropriate action. But
the endangered situations for Hindus prevail everywhere in Bengal for
the inaction of Police, Administration and obviously for the
unaccounted torture upon Hindus by all the secular Parties.

Three Months left, Government sleeping over Sabarimala pilgrimage

PATHANAMTHITTA:
The BJP has criticised the State Government and the Travancore Devaswom
Board for their “failure” to provide facilities to crores of Sabarimala
pilgrims with hardly three months left for the new festival season.
Addressing newsmen here on Wednesday, BJP district president T R
Ajitkumar said that the laxity on the part of the government and the
TDB was the cause for not launching projects for providing basic
facilities to the pilgrims.

Ajitkumar alleged that since the TDB
members were non-believers, they were not keen to initiate measures for
launching projects for pilgrim facilities.

He urged the TDB to take immediate steps to scrap the toll gate at Chalakayam in view of the additional burden on pilgrims.

Ajitkumar
also sought early measures to end the 11-month-old Chengara land
agitation. He blamed the CPM for the violent incidents in
Pathanamthitta town and nearby areas.

Ajitkumar said party state
president P K Krishnadas would inaugurate the district-level party
special convention here at 10 a.m. on July 12.Party leaders like C K
Padmanabhan and M T Ramesh would participate in the convention.K K
Sasi, Elanthur Haridas and Prasad Anandabhavan were present at the news
conference.

Marxism failed in both theory and practice

(This
article is based on the book written by Marxist leader P. Kesavan Nair.
He is frustrated with Marxism and his expose has become a bestseller in
Malayalam.)

As
he seems, unlike other communist-turned-anti-communists, Nair is never
emotional. His critical narration exposes Marxism. Cleverly he quotes
Bertrand Russell.

“Russell was one of the greatest
scholars of 20th century. Philosopher, mathematician, writer, etc., his
battles for world peace are legendary. Russell disapproved and
dissented Marxism till his end. The history gave flamboyant approval to
Russell’s criticism on Marxism. His reservations against communist
governments are harsher than against Marxism. Russell had been seeking
answer to two questions:

1. Whether Marxism is truth.

2. The implementation of that gave human beings peace and happiness.

In
the celebrated article ‘Why I am not Communist’, Russell quests for the
answer. Marxism is not only not truth but also it supplies only chaos,
were his findings. The history of socialist governments and Marxism
justify the findings.”

“The concept of
dialectical materialism and historical materialism of Marx do not merge
with the philosophy originated from the modern science,” Nair’s theoretical analysis
goes on. “Marx imagined that the dialective materialism is a law which
rules the universe. He also considered it a universal force which rules
the human history, independent of human ambitions. It is the same value
that religion gives to God’s rules, that the Marx gives to the
dialective materialism. The communists misunderstood the dialective
materialism as the science of science. This history-discarded principle
is still the basic principle of the strategy and swindle of the
communists. The approach of the communists, snuggling the failed
techniques, is highly conservative’, Kesavan Nair swears.

From the theory he comes to the epitomes.
“The incidents in the socialist countries proved the theory and
practice of Marxism has no correlation. The destruction of Soviet Union
and Eastern Europe are examples. In regard to the Marxist theories,
these incidents are very important. According to the Marxian view the
theory is to be proved through practice. In that view, the devastation
in Soviet Union and Eastern Europe proves that in practice the Marxian
theory is a failure. In those countries and in China the practice of
Marxism ended in the bullying of predominance of party leaders and
their gourmet pursue. Communist party leaders rejoiced in luxury,
extravagance, corruption, hedonism and wealth. Marxism was
establishmentlised in socialist countries. In China so-called
market-socialism is going on. Economy is capitalism while the political
system is ‘socialism’ !

In
capitalist countries the monopolists control the economical-political
systems. But in Marxism the economy decides politics. But Chinese
communist party says that the political system is decided by economic
system. What an irony! In China the party leaders are the shareholders
or veneer owners of the industrial-commercial establishments.”

“Imperialism
is the apex state of capitalism, Leninism says. Theoretically and
pragmatically the prime opponent of communism is imperialism. America
is the main envoy of imperialism. But the most favoured nation
of America is China. America’s enormous investments flows into China.
Virtually now-a-days China is under the American boots. Red
China spread red carpet to Henry Kissinger, Nixon, George Bush and Bill
Clinton and now to the junior Bush. Under the leadership of Communist
party, capitalism is bullying China. In normal capitalist countries
‘independent democracy’ is the camouflage of capitalism. In China the
camouflage is ‘communism’.”

“It was not with the people’s involvement the 1917 October revolution cropped up in Russia.
It was a planned, conspired sabotage against the Kerenski government by
the Bolshevik party led by Lenin during the tail end of first World
War. Lenin and those intellectuals around him depicted it as a
labour-class revolution. Lenin who came to power in Russia became the
unquestionable leader of international Communism through shortcuts. After
Lenin, more autocratically than Tsar, annihilating all the old
revolutionarists, Stalin established the ‘Commissar’ empire. The
brutality of Stalin beneath the iron curtain is indescribable.
It was Khrushchev who lifted the iron curtain a little through his
confessing speech in the 20th party congress of CPSU. The artists and
writers who pointed out the autocracy of communist rule were branded as
the enemies of working-class.

The 75-year-long despotism of Communist rule ended up not due to any external force, but by the natives themselves.”

“The
government led by Lenin in the post-revolutionary period also was an
oppression machine. The governmental terrorism was at its zenith when
it was ruled by Stalin. With the rule of Stalin the identity of
individuals waned out. The emotion, likes and dislikes, independent personality, the value of life, etc, become taboos. In the working-class totalitarianism, an individual withers to a scapegoat to scarify in the revolution.”

The reason of becoming of Communist leaders as autocrats, is to be sought in the concept of Marx about revolution. Marxism opened up a vast vista for autocracy. ‘Labour-class-totalitarianism’
was brought about by removing the existing governments, and those who
criticise such labour-class governments were, without any mercy,
annihilated or wiped off. That were the basic lessons taught by Marx
and Angels. In Communist countries, all those reign on the saddle of
power become autocrats. Workmen and farmers have no role in the
Governments. The ruling Communist leaders themselves become a ‘Ruling
class’.

‘The Communists give an impression that, the
working-class-totalitarianism is a rule of the majority. Not at least
one example is available to show that the Communist Government is the
equipment of the majority. During the devastation period of
the Soviet Union, the apology of CPSU is worth notable. ‘All country
men’ narrowed to ‘working-class’. ‘Party’ constricted to its central
committee, central committee to Politburo, Politburo to the General
Secretary. Working-class totalitarianism and democratic-centralisation
is the foundation. Democratic-centralisation transformed to the
power-centralisation of the Secretary. In democratic-centralisation the
difference between ‘upper’ and ‘lower’ become severe.

The directions from ‘up’s are strict orders. Those who are in the lower committees are the slaves of upper committees.

‘Between
1825 and 1917, under the rule of Tsar, the total slay was 6321. But,
after the 1917 revolution, within the two months of 1918, the ‘red
terrorism’ declared officially by Lenin did 15,000 killings
.
In the famine occurred due to the implementation of collective farming
in 1932-33, the total carnage was 60 lakhs. In the cleaning process
done by the party bumped off 7,20,000 people. Between 1934 and 1941, 70
lakhs innocent people were jailed in the notorious ‘Gulags’. Of them
the majority found their end within that camps. When Stalin expires
27.5 lakhs prisoners were in the Gulags.

For vindictiveness towards their own people, the Communist leaders are more cruel than those of capitalists countries. In the famous book ‘Gulag Archipelago’, the celebrated writer Solzhenitsyn imparts that,

6 crores people were put to sleep in the Communist experiment in Russia due to the cruelty of the governments.’

‘During
the era of Tsar, the Russia was the granary of Europe. 1/6th land of
the earth, with plentiful natural resources and minimal populace were
the blessings of Soviet Union. Though they were ahead in Astronomy,
Nuclear physics and Armoury, Soviet Union was trailing behind in
agriculture and industry. Under Communists’ rule the agony of Soviet
people was relentless.

Everything
was in dearth. From bread to butter people queued up for hours. The
Russian breadlines were notorious. Two crores of people involved in
black marketing. Meanwhile curious voices for food and clothing were
muffled like anything. During the rule of Communists’,

the workers and farmers of Soviet Union got only chains but no new world.’

‘The
turmoil is similar in China, Cambodia, North Korea and Eastern Europe.
In China, the cultural revolution bestowed mass slaughter. Including
Liu Shaoqi, the No.2 in the party leadership, with other top leaders (
the foes of Mao), one crore pretty ‘comrades’ were numbed in the name of cultural revolutions.A section of the world still believe that the toll is three crores. It is pity to find that those who killed and kill are Communists.

In
the ‘‘Great Leap Forward’’, lead by Mao, due to famine, another four
crores of people dead. Nobody knows that, how many people were killed
in Tiananmen square.

‘The Pol Pot, the leader of Cambodian Communist party rejoiced by heaping skulls and bones in the ‘killing fields’.

During his regime, 30 million people were slaughtered. The red
terrorism ran riot in north Korea and Eastern Europe.’ ‘The ideas and
opinions of not of them were suppressed by Communism. Talented writers
and scientists were forced to flee from those countries.

‘Though
the pre-streams are there, Marxism did not expounded in Western Europe.
Though the political set up were based on Capitalism, Communism could
not mature there. In the capitalist countries also, they could not
mellowed. The poverty in the undeveloped & under developed
countries welcome Communism, says Russell.

Communism
is the philosophy of poverty. It is the philosophy of insurgence and
hatred. Poverty and starvation usher the Communist devil and its
proliferation can be stopped only by poverty eradication.’

‘The
Marxism exported by the Communist totalitarianism-Government of Soviet
Union to the countries like India, turned up like a bad penny as opium
to the so called left intellectuals. They betrayed their poor brothers
and sisters with its intoxication’.

Communist Conspiracy to derail Sabarimala Pilgrimage

Thiruvananthapuram:
Devaswom Board Commissioner warned that if the Devaswom Board members
show a little more responsibility, Sabarimala Pilgrimage will be in
shambles during this season also as happened in last season.

Devaswom
Board Commissioner P.V.Nalinakshan Nair blew the whistle by sending
this warning message to Devaswom Ombudsman. Government Nominated
Devaswom board members itself are the stumbling block in the
development of Temples.

The infightings within the Board members is affecting the day to day management of Temples.
When the earlier boards conducted Board meetings twice in a week the
present Communist Board is not at all bothered about convening the
meetings which take important decisions on Temple affairs and management.

Just
like last season, no action has been yet taken to provide Aravana
offering to devotees smoothly. Corruption is widely rampant in Devaswom
board controlled temples in which they take up to 5000 Rupees for
certain offerings and submit fake receipts showing 100 or 150 Rupees.

Sincere
Devaswom staffs are barred from meeting ombudsman to convey this
shocking situation prevailing in board. As a Devaswom Board
Commissioner he is not allowed to do his by the Board members whose
only interest are Temple money and how to misuse it.

Kodungallur:
Communist goons went on rampage for the third day in Kodungallur and
after three days of attack, Home Minister gave nod to impose curfew in
the region to prevent interference of Judiciary.

District
collector called for 1 week curfew, But for the goons who have full
blessings from the Home Minister itself, call of curfew become a
blessing in disguise so that they can carry on their violence with full
escort of Police.

A
BJP activist was stabbed and is in critical condition, two houses of
BJP activists were completely destroyed. The DYFI criminals are roaming
in the Town as small group in Bikes with lethal weapons and shouting
provocative abuses- Yes, all these with complete Police backing.

House
of BJP activist Selly was completely destroyed Friday early morning,
Auto Rickshaw and a Maruti car parked in his home was also destroyed.
House of Unnikrishnan was destroyed in the wee hours. More than 70 DYFI
goons barged into his house and ransacked it. Prakasan who came to stop
the attack of Unnikrishnan’s home was stabbed by the violent mob.

The attempt to attack Amrithanandamayi Ashram in Kodungallur was thwarted by timely intervention of devotees.

More than 30 Shops were looted and destroyed, 9 Buses , 8 Cars, 5 Auto rickshaws, more than 20 Two wheeler’s were destroyed.

One
can appreciate the severity of the situation when we look into the
number of Police officials in the area.DIG Vijayanand, Police Supt.
Dinesh, DYSP Sasikumar , All CI ‘s and SI’s of Thrissur and a heavy
contingent of about 600 Police is being deployed in the district for
past few days.

No
attempts were seen from the Police to avert any untoward situation
instead the criminal gangs are unleashing violence with full support of
this Kodiyeri servants deployed in the area.

The
current spate of violence were started as a result of Police giving
permission for a DYFI march in between a BJP public meeting in
Kodungallur in June 27^th. The BJP meeting were attacked on
that day by DYFI goons. Police took no action against those who
disrupted BJP meet instead were eager to register cases against BJP
leaders!

DYFI
leader Biju was died following the surge of DYFI-BJP clashes in the
area. Ever since the CPI(M) men hacked to death the local leader of the
Yuva Morcha Symesh during 2005 Kodungallur is witnessing attacks and
counter attacks. . There were even incidents of people getting killed
at their homes during the killing spree and the recent killing is a
sequence to an attack on the local BJP leaders by the CPI(M) men in the
public meet.

This violent raj is their latest attempt to regain their control in the Holy town of Kodungallur.
The recent attacks are well dictated from AKG Bhavan, The complete
passivity of Police in dealing with criminals is being condemned even
by Non BJP sympathisers in the area. Police are foisting false cases
against BJP leaders and activists.

kodungallur Violence
The police inaction and connivance and facilitation extended to DYFI
goons is very clear. Those affected and the District BJP laedership
acting through them should make a well-drafted complaint to the state
Human Rights Commission. At least the attitude of the Commission, when
it comes to rights of Hindus, can be ascertained.

Left suffers another jolt in WB, this time in civic poll

Kolkata, July 2: After
last month's panchayat poll, the CPI-M in West Bengal suffered yet
another setback on Wednesday losing three of 13 municipalities to
Trinamool Congress and another to Congress in the civic elections.

The Front, which controlled nine earlier, managed to
retain only five - Panihati, Burdwan, Chakdah (CPI-M), Balurghat (RSP)
and Mekhligunj (FB).

The CPI-M lost Guskara, Habra, Midnapore to TC and Dalkhola to Congress.

The most impressive win by the Trinamool Congress
was in Guskara in Burdwan district regarded as the CPI-M's stronghold
where it secured eight of the 15 seats. BJP bagged two and the Front
won five.

TC also won 11 of the 23 seats in Habra
municipality in North 24 Parganas district where the party had fared
well in the recent panchayat election while Congress bagged 1. The Left
Front secured 10 seats and an independent won 1.

Although the LF won the panchayat poll in West
Midnapore district, it lost the municipality in Midnapore, the district
headquarter. TC bagged 9 seats and Congress 4, while the LF won 6 and
independents 4.

TC which had controlled Diamond Harbour in South
24 Parganas with the support of Congress earlier, strengthened its
position securing 11 of the 16 seats. Congress bagged 1 the BJP 2 and
LF 1 and independents one each.

The Congress, on the other hand, wrested Dalkhola
municipality from the LF bagging 9 of the 14 seats retaining Haldibari
and Alipurduar. It also emerged the single largest party in Dubrajpur
in Birbhum district winning 6 of the 15 seats while TC got 1,
independent 1 and BJP 2.

West Bengal not to ban Maoists

KOLKATA:
Despite a spurt in Maoist activity, the West Bengal government is not
contemplating a ban on the ultras and instead wants to tackle them politically,
administratively and through adoption of various socio-economic measures.

Chief Minister Buddhadeb
Bhattacharjee told the state Assembly on Thursday that the government did not
think that a mere ban would be able to check the Maoists. The menace could
rather be tackled politically, administratively and by taking up measures for
socioeconomic development.

Bhattacharjee, who holds the
Home (police) department, told Leader of Opposition Partha Chatterjee that
several states had suggested a ban on the Maoists during a recent meeting with
the Prime Minister in Delhi, but the West Bengal government did not subscribe to
such a view.

The state
government, he said, would like to undertake socioeconomic development of the
areas now considered Maoist-infested.

He referred to the resolution
of the militancy problem at Naxalbari in the past through political and
administrative means.

Accusing
the Maoists of committing murder, loot, terror and dacoity, the Chief Minister
said the government had been keeping a strict vigil on the ultras and stepped up
security in the Maoist-infested areas of Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapore
districts.

The Maoists have
killed 12 policemen and injured 70 in the state ever since they became active.
In the period between 2005 and 2008, 42 political leaders, mostly belonging to
CPM, lost their lives and 47 were injured at the hands of the Maoists,
Bhattacharjee said.

Swami Ramananda attacked by CPM Goonda elements

: Well known Hindu spiritual leader Swami Ramananda was attacked by
CPI(M) criminals today at Adimaly. According to information available
Swamiji was admitted to the nearby hospital. Hindu Aikiya Vedi strongly
criticized the attack. State leader Kummanam Rajasekharan visited the
hospital to meet Swamiji.

Attack on Swami Ramananda - Updates

Adimali: Swami Ramananda who worked for the upliftment of tribals in Idukki district was attacked by DYFI Goons.

A
batch of DYFI criminals under the leadership of local CPM leaders
assembled in Chinnapparakudi and catch hold swamiji. They questioned
him and manhandled. The papers and other documents taken away by force
from swamiji. His saffron robe was teased. They pushed and pulled his
beard and hair. Swamiji was put in front of them and asked to follow
their procession.

By shouting slogans, he was put in the traffic island of Adimali city. After
the procession swamiji was brought before the police. Since there was
no complaints against swamiji, Police could not taken any action
against him.

Later
he was admitted in the govt hospital. Kummanam Rajasekharan and Swami
Ayyappadas, leaders of Hindu Aikia Vedi visited Swamiji.

We should compare swami Ramananda to JESUS so that the pain undergone by Swami will be know to all. DYFI thinks that with a group of youngsters they can do whatever they can. Sunil 30/06/2008 00:10:13	Tit of tat action reqd. Wny nobody was there to object or protect Swamiji ? We should take security cover in future in order to avoid such incidents and insult on swamis. The local DYFI leader who had organized this offence, should be attacked by Hindu forces. Severe retaliation is required to stop this kind of insults in future. They are thinking that, insulting and harming Hindu sanyasis are easy and nobody will prevent them. Why they are not doing against fraud christian fathers and Muslims ? Because they knows they will be prevented by their own party because of minorities !
Hary Nambiar 29/06/2008 17:42:06	Judicial matter Swamiji or his followers on his behalf has to file a law suit against the local DYFI unit and its leaders. Similarly, when police uses unnecessary force, affected parties have to file law suit in the appropriate court. There are a lot of lawyers who are members of the Hindu Aikya Vedi. Some of them should follow this up.
