Israel and India—A Comparison

After two thousand years in exile in different parts of the world, undergoing immense suffering and humiliation everywhere, excepting in the land of Bharatavarsha where they were received with the traditional hospitality and kindness of the Hindus and given asylum, the Jewish race ultimately formed in the recent period of history, their own tiny nation, Israel, surrounded by hostile Islamic nations. Ever since the advent of Israel, the international Islamic Jihadi forces have been making every effort to destroy it, which is of the size of Kerala State in India with a population which is equal to half of that of Mumbai city, but the nation of the brave and self-respecting Jews have accepted the challenge and are fighting a valiant battle against the enemies. Recently the Lebanese kidnapped two soldiers of Israel and, seeking the release of their soldiers, Israel has been pounding Lebanon, in which operation nearly five hundred Lebanese have lost their lives and Lebanese capital and neighbouring villages have been reduced to dust. Israelis have the guts to reject even the appeal of the United Nations to stop fighting for three days to extend relief to the civilian victims of Lebanon. Israel is determined to teach a lesson to the Jihadis, come what may.

India, that is Bharatavarsha, is the most ancient nation in the world and the Hindu race has been the mother of various races and religions of the world. The Hindus who migrated to distant lands in the remote past gave civilization, culture, language, religion and literature to many a nation of the world. Mother India was adored as the preceptor of the world— loka guru—by nations of the world, and seekers of wisdom and spiritual enlightenment poured into India from all corners of the world to sit at the feet of the preceptors of our land and learn the arts and sciences as well as the meaning and purpose of their life. However, the self-forgetfulness of the Hindus and the disunity among them cost them their liberty, land and life and they became slaves of hordes of alien forces in the course centuries. The Hindu Nation lost its sovereignty as well as nationality. Crores of Hindus were forcibly converted to alien religions like Islam and Christianity. After centuries of slavery the country became independent because of the valiant efforts of great freedom fighters and patriots. However, before leaving the shores of our land, the British saw to it that this nation would not rise once again into a glorious Hindu nation and therefore they vivisected the land into India and Pakistan. The power hungry Hindu politicians not only accepted the partition of the land, but also agreed to declare India as a secular nation while Pakistan proclaimed itself as an Islamic Nation. While the Pakistanis massacred and threw out Hindus in lakhs from the stretch of the land that came under their domination, the Muslims, Christians and other minorities in Hindustan were given protection in the hope that they will identify themselves with India and become loyal citizens, but unfortunately, a large section of the Muslims and Christians, misled by fanatic and fundamentalist leaders, consider themselves to be alien to Hindusthan and Indian nationalism.

Since the Independence of the country, the Pakistani inspired Muslim militants have been promoting Islamic fundamentalism in the Muslim majority areas of India. Kashmiri Pundits were butchered in thousands and many more were thrown out of Jammu-Kashmir State to live as refugees in other parts of their own Motherland, Bharatavarsha. The soldiers of Indian Army have been massacred by Pakistani intruders and Muslim militants trained by Pakistan in Jammu Kashmir, in Indian territory. A large chunk of Kashmir has come under the occupation of Pakistani forces and has turned into training ground for Muslim militants recruited from all over India to commit treachery. In different parts of the country, the Madrasas have become the recruitment grounds of Islamic terrorists who brainwash the Muslim youth to believe that converting the Kafir land of India into an Islamic Nation is the sacred duty of every Muslim and therefore the Muslims must engage themselves in Jihad or Holy war to destroy the Kafirs. The blasts in Mumbai in 1993, the Godhra rail carnage, the attack on Indian Parliament and on Akshardam Temple, the blasts in the Hanuman Temple in Varanasi, the attack on Hindu institutions and bomb blasts in Hindu localities in various parts of the country are all programs under the one agenda of Islamic war against India by Pakistani militants and their stooges inside the country. The recent serial blasts in the Mumbai railway stations which have killed hundreds of innocent commuters and injured more than a thousand people, and the intrusion of Laskar-e-toiba militants into the Indian army are the latest and gravest threats to the sovereignty and freedom of this country. The US Intelligence has discovered terrorist training centers in Pakistani territory, right across India's border, and taken satellite pictures, and India has also declared that there are fifty-two terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The Defense Minister of India has revealed that Pakistan has designs to blast military installations and temples in India, but Pakistan has warned India that if the latter contemplates any Israeli-type of action, it will give a fitting reply. And the impotent India Government led by eunuch politicians hopes to invoke the mercy of the enemy by appeals for peaceful dialogues and appeasement by paying crores of rupees as aid to the enemy country for relief from natural disaster. The hands and legs of the Indian army men were tied by orders for limited action when they marched into the battlefront at Kargil to defend the country and hundreds of our soldiers lost their lives in spite of their valour and patriotism and their capability to give a crushing blow to the enemy. Now the shameless secularists in the country argue that unlike Lebanon, Pakistan has nuclear weapons and India should not try to defend itself using force and smashing the terrorist camps across the border. Some of the secularist scoundrels are not even ashamed to say that Muslim militancy is only because of demolition of Babri structure and Gujarat riots and some have even gone to the extent of alleging that the Hindus themselves have set bomb blasts in their religious places and railway stations to bring bad name to the Muslims.

What Is Behind the Fall of India?

What has happened to this Hindu Nation which could, in the remote past, throw out even a world conqueror, Alexander of Macedonia, who was surrounded by the mighty elephant force of Purushottaman and could not move even an inch into the land of Sindh which he attempted to conquer, and who was allowed to retreat safely because the valorous Purushottaman received a 'Rakhi' from Alexander's wife praying to the Hindu king to accept her as a sister and spare the life of her husband?

The Israelis, though scattered in different parts of the world during the period of their exile, preserved their Zionist culture and heritage. Their adoration of their Holy Land, whose retrieval was presented as the life mission of the Jewish race, goaded them to relentless effort until they created the Israel nation. On the other hand, the Hindus, suppressed and subjugated in their own land, lost their vision of their Holy Land, and accepted slavery and humiliation as gifts from alien races. They became subservient to the alien masters and accepted the alien culture, religion and way of life. While on the one hand, patriotic children of the Motherland, like Rana Pratap, Chatrapati Shivaji and Guru Gobind Singh were fighting for the emancipation of the nation from alien hands, there were many among the Hindu kings and chieftains who shamelessly stood on the side of the Muslim aggressors, gifted their own sisters and daughters to the harems of the Islamic rulers, and allowed the destruction and demolition of Hindu temples and pilgrim centers and conversion of Hindus to Islam. During the onslaught and rule of the Europeans in India, many Hindus not only embraced slavery and subjugation willingly, but also became instruments for the perpetration of oppression and suppression of their own brethren by the aliens. Patriotic kings and chieftains like Veerapandia Kattabomman, Jhansi Rani, Tantya Tope, Nana Saheb and Rani Chennamma fell in the battle against the British not because of the foreigner's valour and might, but because of the betrayal of treacherous Hindus. The revolutionaries and freedom fighters like Bhaga Jatin, Chandrasekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and Khudiram Bose were betrayed by their own people. The Indian National Congress was founded by a white man, A.O. Hume, to smother the embers of the 1857 War of Indian Independence by channellizing the political aspirations of Indians into passive routes of petitioning and appeal to the alien rulers praying for more privileges and autonomy. However, when the revolutionary fire caught up once again inside the Congress with the emergence of Extremists, in order to uproot the extremist patriots like Lokamanya Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bipin Chandra Pal, Veer Savarkar and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the cunning Britisher, Lord Ampthill, planted Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who wrote to him from South Africa that he was a "loyal citizen of British empire", and the Moderate leader, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, in Indian politics to take over the Congress from the hands of the Extremists. In spite of all these tragedies in the Indian political scenario, India won the Independence due to the valiant efforts of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose whose Indian National Army intruded into the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and created revolts and mutinies which forced the British to leave this country for ever. However, before independence, the brave and courageous leader of the Indian National Army had to vanish as Japan and Germany, who were supporting his INA, fell in the war front. He was alleged to have been captured and kept in the Siberian prison. It is also alleged that though the Moderate Congress leaders who came to power in Free India knew about this, no effort was made to rescue him and bring him back to the Motherland because they feared that once Netaji came back to India, they would lose their power. It has also been strongly believed that Netaji somehow returned to India, but lived incognito, as a Hindu sannyasi in northern India till he passed away at Dehra Dun in 1977.

The Unpatriotic Muslims and Christians

The Muslims in India, under the dictates of Islam, could not adore and worship the Motherland, for Allah alone could be worshipped by them, and according to the Mullahs and Imams of this country, who are the illegitimate progeny of the Islamic invaders of the country, it is blasphemous even to sing "Vande Mataram", the national song of Bharat written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, because it elevates the Motherland to the position of a deity. The Salvation Army representing the Christians went to a court of law in India claiming that they could not sing "Jana Gana Mana" and stand up when the national song is sung because they could adore only Jesus and the Father in the Heaven. However, the "secular" Constitution of India has granted to these traitors the citizenship of this land and also 'minority privileges'. The Muslims' extra-territorial loyalty to Mecca, which alone is a holy land to them, is promoted by our national government by giving liberal subsidy to them to go on Haj pilgrimage. To the Christians, Jerusalem and Rome are the holiest places and they consider the European and American evangelists as their torchbearers. When Pope John Paul visited India he had the courage to declare openly that his mission was to convert India into the land of Christ. The evangelist President of the United States of America, George Bush, has allotted 4.3 billion US Dollars for conversion work in India and the Christian Evangelist institutions and the World Christian Congress have engaged a large battalion of missionaries for proselytization in different parts of the country. Thanks to an Italian Christian who entered into the Indian Prime Minister's family as a bride and later became the wife of the succeeding Prime Minister, and now has emerged as the leader of the ruling party in India, Christians have come to occupy high positions like Chief Ministers of various states and in the Governments in the Centre and the States. Swami Vivekananda warned more than hundred years ago, "Every man going out of the Hindu pale is not only a man less, but also an enemy the more."

While on the one side, the Jihadi Muslim Fundamentalist forces are engaged in a planned and systematic destruction of this country through uninterrupted terrorist activities, the Christian militants, in the hope of creating a Christianisthan in the North East, where large scale conversions of Hindu tribals into Christianity had taken place during the British rule, have been promoting insurgencies in Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh. The Christian fundamentalists, inspired by the European and American imperialist forces, have launched their campaign of dismantling this nation. While the militant outfits in North East get the patronage and support from the World Christian organizations, the evangelists supported by them are engaged in proselytization work in other parts of the country. They have managed to infiltrate not only into political parties, educational institutions and social organizations to dominate over them, but also into renowned Hindu movements, started by Hindu spiritual leaders to promote Hindu Dharma, which have now started to call themselves 'universal institutions' and 'not Hindu organizations'. Recently a fact finding committee appointed by a renowned seer of Hindu society, Sri Vishwesha Tirtha of Udupi Pejawar Mutt, consisting of a retired Judge of High Court, retired Director General of Police and a retired Vice Chancellor came out with a startling revelation of the attempt by Christian missionaries to infiltrate into the administration of even the most famous Hindu temple, Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam, with the support of the Christian Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Samuel Rajasekhara Reddy. Journalists belonging to a TV Channel who tried to expose the nefarious activities of the Christian evangelists in Tirupati were manhandled by the converted Christians and their stooges and even the video films, which the journalists had shot, were seized from them. The Hindu sadhus, sannyasins and leaders are too scared to condemn these atrocities, because they fear that the wrath of the police and Government under the thumb of secularist politicians will turn against them.

Where is the Valorous Hindu?

The question that arises is "Where is the valorous Hindu race?" At the time of partition, the Hindus were supposed to be eighty-five percent of the population, but today they are much less because of the large scale conversions that have taken place in the last five decades. Even then, Hindus are considered to be in majority in this country, but it is the greatest lie ever told. A Muslim knows that according to Quran, one could be a true Mussalman if and only if he believes in Allah and Allah alone, considers Prophet Mohammad as the last prophet whose words are final, and all those who do not accept him, Quran and Allah are Kafirs or infidels who must either be converted to Islam or annihilated. A Christian is very clear in his understanding that Jesus and Jesus alone saves and all those who do not believe in Jesus, the Holy Ghost, the Father in the Heaven and in the Holy Bible are sinners who will be cast into Eternal Hell. But a Hindu today is absolutely ignorant as to who a Hindu is. He believes that all those who have got some Hindu names given by their parents, who go to temples and worship gods like Rama, Krishna, Shiva or Kali, who celebrate festivals like Deepavali and Holi, who get married according to Vedic rites and who claim themselves to be Hindus at the time of census are all Hindus. To them, religion is just a means for material well-being. God is there to promote their business, to give them health and wealth and His grace can be purchased by shelling out money. The temples are turning out into business centers and priests in the temples, the soothsayers and astrologers have a good market by broking for the God's grace. Frequent news stories reported in the media in the recent period about the priest-astrologer-soothsayer professionals' nexus with corrupt politicians, industrialists, businessmen, and cine stars who want to find out their fate in their respective field of activities and the involvement of prostitutes and mafias also in their affairs have shocked the conscience of true believers in religion and spirituality, but the innocent and gullible believers are still in dark about what is happening around them. This is the height of ignorance of the so-called Hindus of the modern period. Two thousand years of slavery has erased from the Hindu mind the true definition and qualification of a Hindu and has unhinduized the Hindus.

Definition of Hindu

"A Hindu is one who adores and worships the land of his birth or the land of his forefathers, Bharatavarsha, stretching from the Himalayas from where the River Sindhu flows, to Kanyakumari whose feet is washed by the three great oceans, the Sindhus, as his Pitrubhoomi, the land of his forefathers and Punyabhoomi, the Holy land, and respects and reveres the values of life that have sprung up in this land"—"aasindhu sindhu sindhu paryeta yasya bhaarata bhoomika, pitrubhoo punyabhooschiava sa vai Hinduriti smritah". In other words, he alone is a Hindu who worships the Motherland as the Supreme Deity, above all gods and goddesses that are the personal deities of worship of individuals. It is immaterial whether you believe in a personal god or an impersonal god, whether you accept idol worship or not, whether you accept any religious scripture or not, whether you follow any religious master, cult or school of thought or not and whether you go to a temple or place of worship or not. It is enough if you love your Motherland and Her children and are prepared to sacrifice your life for the country. How many such Hindus are there in our country today? In the day today life of every Hindu, the first and foremost thing he is expected to do as soon as he rises up from the bed is to pray to his Divine Mother, the Mother Earth, chanting the sloka, " Samudravasane devi parvatasthanamandale, vishnupatnee namastubhyam paadasparsham kshamaswame"—"Oh Mother Earth, the Divine Consort of Lord Vishnu, whose dress is the ocean and whose breasts are the mountains, salutations to thee; please pardon our blasphemous act of placing our feet on you when we get up." How many Hindus on this earth know this tradition today, leave alone the spirit of patriotism?

The Spiritual and Religious Leaders Who Have Failed

The fault is with those whom the Hindu Nation and the Hindu society consider to be the leaders guiding their destiny. The Bhagavad Gita says, "Yadyadaacharati shreshthah, tattadevetaro janaah; sa yat pramaanam kurute, lokastatanuvartate "—"Whatever those who are considered to be the elders or men of perfection do, the same is done by others; that which is set as standard by them, is blindly followed by the common run." In the most ancient period, great sages and seers like Vyasa, Valmiki, Vasishtha and Vishwamitra, set the standards of Dharma and lived it making themselves examples to the people of Bharatavarsha. In the historical period also we had great saints and sages who aroused the people to fight for the preservation of the Motherland and its ideals. Samartha Ramdas moulded a Chhatrapati Shivaji to create a Hindu Empire when the Moghuls ransacked the nation and destroyed our culture. Vidyaranya, the Shankaracharya of Sringeri, was instrumental in enabling a Harihara and Bukka to build up a mighty Vijayanangar Empire in the south to check the inroads of the Muslims. During the Sannyasi Rebellion, the mendicants in ochre cloth took up arms and fought against the aliens, but what sort of Sadhus and Sannyasins do the nation see today? A hundred years ago, a patriotic sannyasi of highest realization, Swami Rama Tirtha, said: "The Sadhus of India are a unique phenomenon peculiar to this country. As a green mantle gathers over standing water, so have the Sadhus collected over India, full fifty-two lacks by this time. Some of them are indeed beautiful lotuses—the glory of the lake! But a vast majority are unhealthy scum." We have today in our midst the so called spiritual leaders in millions, wandering throughout the length and breadth of the country in ochre, yellow, white or red clothes, setting up missions and mutts of various sampradayas and cults and some of them are globe-trotting, bringing in foreign exchange by exporting Yoga, meditation, philosophy, Jyotisha and Ayutveda, but a large majority of them are "scum" as Swami Rama Tirtha said. How many of the sadhus and sannyasins in our midst today have the courage to arouse the Hindus to stand up against Adharma and the onslaught of alien, anti-national and treacherous forces on this sacred nation. How many of them have raised their voice against the persecution and massacre of Hindus in Kashmir? How many have condemned the destruction and devastation of Hindu sacred places and killing of Hindu people in thousands? How many have stood up against the mass conversion of helpless Hindus by Christians and Muslims in this land? Many of the ignoramus posing themselves as spiritual leaders talk about " sarva dharma samabhava", not knowing what dharma means and proclaiming shamelessly that Islam, the religion that says Allah alone is to be worshipped and others are Kafirs to be annihilated, and Christianity, the religion that says Jesus alone saves and those who do not believe in him and in the Father-in-the-heaven are bound to go to Hell, is equal to Hinduism, the great Sanatana Dharma which proclaims that whoever worships the Ultimate Reality in whatever form reaches Him and all ways of worship lead to the same goal. These sadhus and sannyasins and their mutts and missions have been the dreaded cancer that has afflicted the Hindu nation and society. In his epic poem, " Paanchaali Sabatam", the great Tamil patriot-poet, Mahakavi Subramania Bharati presented allegorically Bharatamata as Draupadi who was dragged to the court of Kauravas, the Britishers, and humiliated, when her own husbands and the great Acharyas like Bhishma and Drona, the warriors and elders of the country, stood like " pettai marangal"—"dead wood". In the present predicament of the country, our Hindu leaders and Dharma Acharyas, though they are in no way comparable to the epic heroes, are also exactly like dead wood. The salvation of Hindus is possible only when sadhus and sannyasins, peethaadheeswars and mahamandaleswars renounce their attachment to name, fame, sampradaya, mutt and mission and give up mutual jealousy and hatred and come out of their narrow shells to serve the entire Hindu society and nation, sitting side by side on one platform and going into the remote villages, slums and tribal areas to give light and guidance to the poor and downtrodden. As long as the Hindu society is confined to narrow shells and remains as a conglomeration of diametrically opposed and warring sects, castes and creeds, there is no hope for the Hindu nation.

Corrupt and Spineless Political Leaders

What about the political leadership of the country? The ideal of secularism propagated by many of the political parties in the country is just a camouflage to hide their nefarious design to capture power by hook or crook. The political parties know that the Hindu society is divided into smithrens and warring groups. To win an election, they have to helplessly depend on the vote banks of the Muslims and Christians who are well organized under the leadership of Mullahs and Missionaries respectively. The Congress, which was once nourished and nurtured by the high ideals of Sanatana Dharma that is Indian Nationalism under great leaders like Lokamanya Tilak, Lala Lajpatrai, Bipin Chandra Pal and Sri Aurobindo is today in the grip of westernized, pro-Christian and anti-Hindu forces. The Communists, whose extra-territorial loyalty to Russia and China and support to Naxalite terrorists are well known, are in alliance with the Congress. The Muslim League under the leadership of fanatic and fundamentalist Muslim clergy who are hand in glove with the international terrorist movements like Al-Queda and Laskar-e-toiba is also in alliance with the Congress. The followers of the Dravidian movement, which, as Justice Party, once supported the British masters and later changed its name to Dravida Kazhagam and demanded the vivisection of Bharat to create a Dravidasthan in the South, are out to destroy Hindu values of life and nationalism, and are the allies of the ruling Congress today. Many of the Hindus are under the Maya of socialism and secularism, and are supporting the divisive, selfish and treacherous politicians in the country. Utter selfishness and materialistic outlook in life has sponged out the love of mother and motherland in their hearts. Even the staunch Hindutwavadi parties, which upheld the values of patriotism and nationalism and the Hindu ethos once under the leadership of great patriots like Veer Savarkar, Lala Lajpat Rai and Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, are today shattered into different political groups under inefficient and selfish leaders not seeing eye to eye with each other. Individual pride and prejudices have blinded them and they are not able to see, even in this condition of grave threat to the safety and security of the country and future of the Hindu society, the need for unity and brotherhood of the staunch Hindu forces.

Hindu values of life, patriotism and nationalism are at the lowest ebb today. Globalization and multi-national industrialization have destroyed the ancient culture and heritage of the Hindus. Families are broken and children abandon their parents and homes in the lure of luxurious and sensual life inside or outside the country. Western values, customs and manners like celebration of Valentines Day, drinking and dancing in the pub, promiscuous sex, etc., have destroyed the Hindu ethos. Characterless and corrupt politicians who hold a sway over the electorate strive to bribe the common masses by cheap promises like free rice to every family, colour TVs, land for the landless, unemployment dole to the unemployed youth and heaven on earth to snatch their votes to capture power. When compared to the conditions of the poor and downtrodden masses who vote them to power, the personal wealth of each and every politician in power grows into lakhs and crores even if he is in power for a short period. Such political leaders can never ensure the safety and security of the nation and its people, but the people in general, who live below poverty line with their day to day struggle for existence are ignorant of the evil designs of the cunning politicians.

Need of the Hour—An Army of Patriotic Hindus

At this juncture, the only way of salvation to the Hindu nation lies in the formation of a powerful Hindu Rashtra Suraksha Sena of dedicated youth who will be prepared to lay down their lives for the freedom and integrity of the nation. They must be guided by a class of Sannyasins emulating those of the order of "Ananda Math" of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee for whom the country is the Supreme Deity and the service of the people is the highest form of worship. As Swami Vivekananda cried out, let all the other vain gods and goddesses disappear and let us worship the Virat, the Motherland and Her children. Swami Rama Tirtha identified himself with the Motherland and Sri Aurobindo found his creed in patriotism. The patriot-saint, Subramania Sivam preached the sampradaaya of "Sri Bharati" or the Deshabhakti maarga. During the period of our Freedom Struggle, patriot saints like Satyadev Maharaj, Vaasishtha Ganapati Muni, Motilal Roy, Sri Aurobindo and Sister Nivedita invoked the Bharata Shakti through intense sadhana to liberate the country from thralldom. Today we need such sadhus and sannyasins who will think of the country first and see God in the Motherland. We, Hindus, are not against any religion that helps in the evolution of humanity from a nasty brutish existence to a divine life seeking realization of the oneness of all beings and the unity of the individual self with the Cosmic Self. However, it is the bounden duty of the Hindu to destroy the Jihadi Islam and the fundamentalist Christianity, who want to wipe out the eternal and universal way of life preached by Hindu sages and seers. We are not against the right of an individual to seek God and worship Him in any form, whether Allah or Father-in-Heaven or Jesus or Buddha. As long as one recognizes the right of others to seek the godhead in their own ways and means, accepting the truth that there is only One God and He could be realized in various paths, one has the right to live in this country. In other words, every citizen of this land must be a perfect Hindu—a child of Mother Bharat—whether he worships Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus or Allah at home and if he cannot look at other children of Mother Bharat as his own brethren, he must be thrown out of the country. He has the choice to go out and live in any country where he will find his holy land and his exclusive and jealous god who cannot tolerate the worship of other gods, but he cannot live in this land of Bharatavarsha, the land of peace and harmony. Destroying the venomous creatures that strive to uproot the age old, universal and eternal values of life of this land and preserving the freedom and integrity of this holy land which is the preceptor of the world is the birth right of every Hindu and he must be prepared to sacrifice his life at the altar of the Motherland. Today, the real Hindus in this country are a handful, like lions in a forest. They must rule over the land, not the cunning jackals and helpless lambs. Oh Hindus! " Uttishthata, jaagrata, praapyavaraan nibodhata!"—"Arise, awake, stop not till the goal is reached.!" Let us hearken to the rousing call of Swami Vivekananda: "Bold words and bolder deeds are what we want. Awake, awake, great ones! The world is burning with misery. Can you sleep?"
