Vanwasi Kalyan Parishad

Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad was founded in 1972 with a small vanvasi ashram in Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh. In the last thirty-three years, Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad has worked extensively for the upliftment of the vanvasis through the establishment of hostels for vanvasi students, dispensaries, sports centres, bal sanskar kendras, bhajan mandalis, etc. The Vanvasi Olympics in 1991 and the Hindu Sangam, Jhabua in 2002 organised by Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad were major success stories which left deep impressions on the minds of the vanvasis as well as the urban population of Madhya Pradesh. These events bridged the gap and promoted interaction between the two societies which was found to be mutually beneficial.

Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad is a registered trust and all donations made to the Parishad are exempt from income tax under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act.
