There are many times people wonder Why doesn't RSS does this _______? Fill in the blank for yourself. Very often these are very sincere suggestions and come with a geniune appreciation of RSS's Work. However, often these suggestions are made by people who lack the knowledge of RSS objectives and goals. Here we need to separate RSS from other RSS inspired organisations.

To understand why your suggestions aren't in tune with RSS, you need to understand the goal of RSS. The Goal of RSS is to create and train people like you who would think about working for our society. Also, at the same time RSS limits itself to only training and inspiring peopel to work for Society. What work needs to be done for the society is entriely upto those enlightened souls and people like you to decide and exectue.

If you feel that so and so should be done then go ahead and do it. There is no use waiting for RSS to do it. RSS is attempting to fight exactly this tendency of Indians that someone else does the work while we watch them do it.

The Goal and self-imposed limit of RSS is to only prepare social enterprenuers like yourself who would go out to do the work and provide the direction to do the work. RSS has taken up the task to create people who would take up social challenges, and work to solve them. There is a famous saying in RSS "Sangh (RSS) will not do anything but Swayamsevaks will not leave anything".

If you feel that don't have the capabilities to do the work/suggestion, then join a RSS Shakha to attain that capabilities and confidence. If that is not the case, then what are you waiting for?

Swayamsevaks inspired by RSS to work for society have gone out and created numerous institutions for the benefit of society, ranging from Bhartiya Janta Party, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bhartiya Majadoor Sangh, Bhartiya Vanvasi Kalyan Asharam, Sewa Bharati to name just few. In addtiona, from time to time these swayamsevaks have also taken up special projects as necessecity arose, from fighting for Ram Temple, building Vivekananda Samakar in Kanyakumari to protecting Ram Sethu.

To use an analogy, RSS is the Krishna in Mahabharata and not the Arjuna. It is working to create Arjunas to do the actual work. It can give directions but the work has to be done by you.
